I purchased Quickbooks Self Employed bundle $25.00 per month to include a Federal and State return. I do not have a business but was an independent contractor for 4 months and wanted an easy way to keep track of my expenses. I thought this was a good option because it would include my tax return at the end of the year. Garbage scammers. Charged me for doing taxes on their website and it was full of hidden fees. They said it would be said amount before I upgraded to their "deluxe" service and did not allow me to go back to standard after I clicked the deluxe version. Deluxe version was a joke. They did nothing to help me with my taxes. Overall trash scam business. Will not be working with them ever again.

Very dissatisfied with their service this year. I had filed my taxes a week ago and they were accepted through the state and federal. I signed up for the tax refund advance where it says after 1-2 hours of your return being accepted your advance will be in your account. Here it is a week after and no money yet and no one knows the answer to anything. I have used Turbotax for years. This year I should have been eligible to file for free and I feel I was tricked because Turbotax said that because of one line item (alimony) I was not eligible to do the free version and that I needed to use the deluxe version. I am low income and now I am seeing that I could have filed for free using IRS Free File. I am extremely upset by this deception. I have requested a refund. I am waiting to hear back. I hope they will do the honorable thing and refund the amount I paid to file.

Horrible company for small business owners. Do not conduct your merchant services with Intuit. This company has a fraudulent practice of taking customer payments and keeping them. They will not allow a deposit nor return the payment to the customer. They make a practice of closing the account and keeping the money of a small business, in essence hurting the very businesses they commit to help.

They are misleading and outright false when they say you can file for free. They will still charge you $40, $80 if you also file state. It isn't about the money, but the ethics.

01/29/22 Despite canceling, Intuit still charged my AX card over $3,400.00 for renewal of Quickbooks Desktop after I was assured that there would be no charge. It seems to me to be a fraudulent charge as well because, to assure that my card wasn't charged, I changed the AX card number to an inactive AX that I have. But they instead kept the old number and still charged it! Isn't that fraudulent? I'm seriously considering calling the police. Dear Turbo Tax, I am contacting you to file a formal complaint about this year's online filing system. Order date 01/27/2022. My complaint is you are charging me 119.00 for the Turbo Tax Live deluxe version when I only need the basic deluxe version of 79.00. Your system kicked me up to a higher rate because of unemployment compensation for all of 2021, which when filing doesn't need any extra online live help to fill out the forms.
