After 3 years of using TurboTax with great success, this year I found out my account had been deactivated. After 7 1/2 hours on the phone over 4 days and more than 25 emails, they finally confirmed that there was nothing I could do to reactivate my account. Now I could apparently let TurboTax search my computer for the pdf files from 2020 and it could somehow extract information from that pdf. Intuit has zero customer service.They used TPG products and stole over a grand from me even after paying a couple hundred dollars and you can't get ahold of anyone from TurboTax or TPG products I received my refund on the 24th it's now the second of March still they owe me money can't get ahold of anyone.

I use Turbo Tax every year. This is the first time I did not receive my full refund. Turbo Tax used a 3rd party, SBTPG Financial Service out of California. They were the ones who only deposited $129.00 when my refund was suppose to be $316.00. Turbo Tax told me, they took the money I owed for using their service. The thing is, it was already taken out before the IRS approved it. I have never had on my bank statement TPG, and then a deposit amount. I have used Turbo tax for at least five years now and this year will be my last. I was given the wrong tax advice by not one but six specialists if you can even call them that. My state was also rejected even though the system said it was all good to file and that everything was correct. Apparently, something is not right in their system. I have never had an issue like this before. Something is definitely wrong.

Turbo tax intuit, inc I belive they lie about their "FREE FILING" in the year 2021 & 2022 when I filed my taxes with turbo tax intuitive the claimed to say i can file for free, while i was filing it asked me if i would like ' TURBO TAX DELUXE" & both years I had clicked on NO & was charged for it anyways. I am an independent contractor who receives 1099s from my employers. Many of them started using Intuit Quickbooks this year. In order to receive my 1099s Intuit forces me to sign up for an account this year. There is no way to receive it without giving away more information about myself to them. In addition their sign up system is extremely buggy and I am unable to sign back in after forgetting my password. I am unable to reset it because of a captcha that won't load. Part of the way through the filing my annual tax retur, I was encouraged to upgrade to the "Deluxe" edition for only ~$30. The top benefit that was advertised: a dedicated contact to represent you to the IRS in the event of an audit. After clicking the button indicating that I'd like to upgrade, I was redirected to a screen containing a breakdown of my entire return. I've files my taxes with Turbo Tax For a few years now. I always select to file with the Basic package which is supposed to be free. They always charge me to do my taxes and switches my Basic Plan To DELUXE which is not free! It's false advertisement and I want my money back. Every single year they charge me to file my returns.

I have been trying to file my taxes for 2 days now. I was told to pay and upgrade to get live assistance. I cannot file my taxes, due to being required to file a form I do not need. I have now called 10 times trying to get resolved. After the frustration, I asked for a refund because it would not work. I was told by a "specialist" to try and start over.
