After being charged to complete state and federal taxes for this year, I was unable to get assistance necessary to do so. I spent 3 days on phone, was hung up on 5 occasions, and bumped off from online chats with customer service people. This is unbelievably unethical that a business is allowed to get away with poor ethics.

I think they should give you a refund if you were not satisfied with their service.we were billed the 79.00,paying with debit. for taxes that were not excepted ( supposedly) by the IRS,then two days later filed again (all the same info.) it was excepted and we were then billed 117.00.(Taken out of the refund) totally not satisfied with this.I must add,we have used Turbo tax for many years with no problem.We tried to get a refund and were told;you used our program.

I am a CPA with 37 years of experience. I use turbotax for my individual tax return. I have depreciation schedules that carryforward each year and I am stuck with this program because it is too much work to transfer to a new tax software program Each year I find bugs in the system and have to spend an inordinate amount of time trying to educate turbotax about errors in their system and calculations that they should have fixed before releasing the program to the public. I cancelled my subscription in October and again in Dec 2021 and this company continued to bill my credit card to the present date. When I asked for a refund of the money taken from my account, I was forwarded over to multiple departments. After an hour and a half of either online chats sessions or department hot potato, I was finally connected to someone who could help me by emailing a link to a refund request form. I used Turbo Tax for my taxes for years. I went with them because of no filing fees. At the end, I was told I needed to upgrade because I had an employment 1099. I was $39 for my federal filing and $39 for my state filing! This is fraud! I want a $78 refund! I will NEVER trust Turbo Tax again! Fraudsð?¤¬

This year's experience with Intuit TurboTax has been unacceptable. If I could give less than 1 star I would. The level of service practices needs to be reported to the BBB. I have been attempted to request a callback from a supervisor for over a week. I am on the verge of contacting an Attorney if my concerns are not addressed.

I purchased TurboTax like I have every year. When I finished my taxes and got to the e-file for state, the price quoted to e-file for Illinois was $20. However after I put in my credit card info, and clicked to review, the program charged me $25.00. When I called TurboTax to ask why, the agent said it was tax, that brought it to $25.00. So they are charging a 25% tax rate, to send something electronically, that I prepared myself?!?!? I have decided this will be the last year I use this program, due to the shady way they are ... read more

I filed my taxes with on them on the so call free one but it charged me 39 dollars plus 39 more for processing fees. I got my income taxes back days ago nothing has shown up in my account but they got 81.20 from me my says they don't have any pending deposit. This my first time using them they horrible customer service sucks.
