Zero stars, really! Not free! I fell for it last year but I thought I could get around it by being VERY careful. I even cleared and started over. Told it twice I didn't want to upgrade. I could not find any way to cancel the retirement credit. There goes $59! Again! Now I have to pay $39 for a direct deposit of my refund. NEVER AGAIN! I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW AND ALL MY FRIENDS ON FACEBOOK!

Went to do my taxes yesterday through turbotax. Clicked on free for simple and turned into deluxe. The charge was $39 for prcoessing fee and $46 for delux and all of the sudden in order to efile there was a $103 fee added which doesn't show what it is for! So total was $191. Then it automatically put me through credit karma st the end also when I clicked on my bank deposit to be deposited. I couldnt change it since it wont let you after pending. I only tried to edit my misspelled last name when it had ms after my last name. ... read more

turboTax - Intuit Satisfaction Guarantee/ 60-Day Money Back Guarantee: If you're not completely satisfied with TurboTax.... Not true! Paid $173.00 and was unable to file due to AGI issue, must pay before filing yet they don't guarantee efile- which you have to do yourself. Tried chat, support services and phone conversation. Emailed and received response and was told to insert 00 on AGI and file!!! IRS will not accept that. So disappointed. I do not recommend TurboTax. They denied my request for a refund.

Beware. Used Turbo tax to complete 2022 taxes. Prior to being able to sign and file I was directed to pay the fees totaling $106.00. I did not have the opportunity to file when I encountered a message concerning a tax form NOT available until a new version was released from IRS.Gov 8915-E. In error, I had stated yes to a question concerning an early withdrawal from my 401K in 2020. Repeatedly I tried to remove the need for the form after its release with no luck. Turbo tax is a SCAM!! their customer service is rude and does not care that they messed up your taxes, and charged almost. i filed my taxes, just to have the IRS stop it and tell me they do not have my w2s. i had to re-file. i contacted Turbo Tax, just to be asked "if you filed from us and we can see your w2s, how do you know it was us that didn't file correctly" DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS COMPANY. BBB should have this place shout down!!!

I did my taxes online instead of paying nearly $265 to a tax person in the past, and the process was fairly easy to follow However once they were completed and supposedly filed, it all went south. I was suckered into thinking I had to pay extra to be secure in my filing and it ended up costing me $224. I would like that amount refunded, minus the legitimate amount for filing efile.

Intuit should really be investigated for fraud. I employed their online tax service this year, for Federal taxes. I also have to report taxes to the state, so I bought TurboTax State for $49. Their online service could NOT report a state return (it just generated empty PDFs). Customer service couldn't figure it out, so they told me to request a refund from the refund department. I filed my taxes in Febrary of 2022 using Turbotax. TURBOTAX IS NOT FREE. Turbotax says "simple returns" are free. My return was simple. I ONLY had 2 W2s and 2 dependents.Turbotax charges you for the forms. I could not process my taxes using the "Fee edition" because I was claiming childcare. I was required to upgrade, and the fees were for each return: $69 or $59 for my federal return and $59 or $49 for my state return. I'm not sure why Intuit didnt get sued yet for their dishonesty. Cannot wait to see it happen.
