My company paid $550 to get 2 shared seats to Quickbooks Desktop (upgrade 2015 too 2022). I feel as though I paid to have them ruin my system. After doing the upgrades, there have been problem after problem after problem. It constantly crashes when sharing access to the database. There have been constant stoppages of the automated input. Shared seats seeing the wrong account numbers and tax ID's. Random corruption of the database. The program has needed to be uninstalled and reinstalled a dozen times or more. It is very difficult to do business with Inituit/ Quick books and very expensive as well. They hold businesses hostage because of the constant change to their software. On average they change Software versions every three years and no longer support older versions. If you don't update they cut off all your online activities, they payroll, invoicing, receiving payments etc. They have pushed consumers towards using online programs, where they control your business. Intuit Turbotax is not importing data from Schwab for 2021 taxes. They appear to know about it but cannot seem to fix it. Don't buy turbotax for 2021 if you don't have to.

Turbo tax has really messed me, NY fiancee and three others that I know of. After finishing my taxes I was told I would get $1,428. Instead I got $628. I worked all year long and I know they messed this up. I wish I new how to start a class action law suit. If I can figure it out, I will be taking them to court. They totally mis lead you . They promise the best return, and instead them and their third party ( who ever that is ) will not contact me back. I've been trying for weeks and I've gotten nothing. WARNING TO ARIZONA TAX FILING FORM 323 WITH TURBO TAX FOR 2021 . If you gave to a qualified Arizona charity for a tax credit, there is a software glitch that will not allow you to proceed. A dialogue box will advise, "Contribution date needs to be before due date." Don't get online help from Turbo Tax as most agents have no clue about tax credits. Get lucky and over ride it without claiming it as a charitable contribution on your 1040 form. The above applies to the "online" editions of TurboTax.

I purchased the Turbotax online solution in Feb 2022. There was a technical bug with this product, which means if you paid and accidently selected paper file, the system would treat you as done done and would never correct your file to e-file although Turbotax promised that you could always switch back as you wish. I contacted Turbotax online help and talked to 2 of their specialists. Both thought that I would be easily switch back to e-file but then realized that they did have this bug and could not do it. Overcharged me $60 for Tax Prep Services through $39.99 hidden fees and removing a discount for which I did qualify in the last step of checkout. The worst part is, I saw the mistake after checking out and immediately called and a representative said it was taken care of...it was not. Many calls and filed tickets later and they refuse to correct this. Extremely misleading in their pricing and this scam cost them a loyal customer of 8 years and countless recommendations. Horrible software that is incorrectly calculating my taxes. After I paid and tried to reach out to a customer service representative, and once I did, they gave me the runaround, weren't able to fix my issue and told me to upgrade my service. After reaching out for a refund, they did not address my concerns and instead led me to a different form that has no connection to my refund. I just want my money back and I've having the hardest time doing so. Terrible company

So I tried using the free version of TurboTax to do my taxes this year. It was all well and good until the very end, after probably close to two hours of inputting information, that it finally decided to let me know that since I had a 401k, they couldn't finish processing my taxes unless I bought the deluxe package for $59. Thanks for wasting my time, TurboTax. I would rather get audited than give you money-grubbing liars a single dollar.
