Filed my tax with TurboTax for free. Refund was not accurate. TurboTax still charged me. My refund was 1400.00 less than what was printed on TurboTax. They still charged me on a free refund. I will not ever use this platform again.

As a small business owner, I am naturally drawn to the need to have QB. In 2021, we started using it for our credit card payments. At first, it was ok. In April 2022, we forgot to update the account on QB, 2 charges bounced back. We corrected it and tried to put through $6k, we waited for 24-48 hrs, nothing happened, we called many times in the span 3 weeks. Finally they said, the money will be credited to our account on 5/13, it never did.

They invoice you the amount you pay for however you'll pay an extra $40 that they do not invoice for that is part of the fine print. Will no longer use them.

I have been trying to get my tax refund from this place and still haven't received it. Their website shows my refund was issued on 2/14/22, which I have no idea how that is possible, when I called in and had to 'request' my refund be issued via direct deposit on 4/21/22. The automated system told me it would take 1-2 business days. Tomorrow marks 3 weeks since I requested my refund from this place and I still haven't received my refund. I had filed through Turbotax and they have told me that I will get a refund of $1281. Well. IRS told me that I owed to the IRS of $119.37 and will not get the refund this year do to the Turbotax mistake of them adding the $1,400 stimulus tax. I had to pay for their mistake and pay IRS. I will never go through Turbotax again.

I have filed my taxes with intuit for the last 5 years with no problems. This year, tabulated my refund. The internal Revenue Service denied that amount for a much smaller amount. That was not the problem. The problem was that Intuit gave authority to a third party to disperse my funds into my account. Intuit took their fees for filing federal and state. I expected this. Turbotax has made my taxes a nightmare and they are very straightforward. My taxes were repeatedly rejected because I had not included a 1095-A form re: marketplace insurance. I never had marketplace insurance, was covered through my employer's insurance all year without gaps, and never received a 1095-A form. I verified with marketplace and was told twice I did not have a 1095-A form on file. Awful product (online version) and awful support. Been a Turbo Tax user since 2009 when their products were straightforward and to the point. Now it appears that upselling and additional items cleverly placed or disguised as essential services throughout their tax filing software has become their focus. How they can claim a satisfaction rating on their website of 4.6 out of 5 is beyond me. A search of 3rd party sites, including this one, reflect a rating of 1-2 out of 5 which seems far more accurate and fitting. I wouldn't h... read more

Mediocre, at best. I switched from Quickbooks Desktop to Quickbooks on-line. I thought I asked all the tight questions about transferring service, items, etc., but I was so wrong. Here it is the end of April, I can not process payroll, I pay another $500 for payroll and then get told by customer service I have 2 accounts open, still. I have been assured that this was taken care of months ago. Guess not. Not to mention, it is impossible to get person that speaks coherent English to assist you.
