The fact that this company does not have a stand alone version of their accounting software is criminal. I Purchased the quickbooks software (which I had bought as a stand-alone) in September 2022 for two small businesses. I was told by sales the digital download version which included a subscription fee of 45.22 each yearly. Charges was attempted as monthly fee. They were contacted to clarify the yearly cost vs monthly cost and never received a price. I am self-employed and don't need anything other that basic bookkeeping, ... read more

We are currently starting a small business and our accountant wanted us to use quickbooks. So far, nightmare. Quickbooks Intuit has been holding onto our second payment of $1600 for almost three weeks now. I have provided all of the information requested, yet I get an email stating our payment is still under review and that it will be "around" another 2 days. WARNING!!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Terrible Customer Service!!!! I can't even give this company a half-star! My company crashed with no explanation and it took over 30hr with a representative to get it back up but still lost weeks of data! When you finally get someone on the phone after dealing with a computer that does not understand you, the person is in a call center with so much background noise of others talking and then their accent is so thick you can't understand them. I emailed this to Intuite, by the way they do have form if you want to request refund but, very much phony! I tried it many times without any success. ....... Hello we have let go of our employees now for over 15 months. We kept the inutile account active just incase IRS needs transmitted forms from many years back, but we were not a ware of your fees. Recently, I was informed by the IRS that my 2020 Federal tax filing was incorrect. I was required to make a fairly large (for me, anyway) payment plus pay a fine. The Turbo Tax (most expensive) filing product double counted the amount that had been withheld from my income. I used to trust that Turbo Tax products were error free. Don't make the same mistake I did. I have to say, however, that Turbo Tax refunded the cost of my filing--but that didn't even cover the fine.

I ordered the digital download version which included a subscription fee of $349. I was just charged for the renewal at $549! No email stating that Intuit would be increasing the fee. I paid Turbo Tax a $59 fee to expedite my tax return on April 15th, 2022. I expected that my taxes would be filed as there were no problems reported in their website app. I didn't find out until two weeks later that in fact my taxes were not filed on April 15th, 2022 at all. I was given vague and unsatisfactory answers as to why. I wish 0 stars were allowed and am now wondering why this company isn't shut down. 1. I was shmoozed for over an hour to open a quickbooks online account. I wasn't satisfied with my current POS system's funding time and Quickbooks promises faster funding. 2.Once the account was opened, it's done so automatically with a quickbooks checking account, not my own, and I had to call back and jump through hoops to connect my own business checking account. 3.They refuse any training unless you pay by purchasing a higher tiered plan,... read more
