This company's customer service and practices are terrible. I was told that the only way to refund a payment was through the payment software, so once I refunded the payment I went to record the refund in my quickbooks account. However, all that did was refund the client again. There were no warnings that I had already refunded it, or that this would overdraft my account (no chance to correct my user error before it went through). They claimed to be refunding my customers money but have no way of telling me when it will be returned or to where no type of receipt or confirmation that it was returned and when asked about it I was told well that's just how we do it or that's how it works here so I don't have that money and my customer still hasn't received the return so I guess they get to keep the 750 dollars because I don't know what else to do I get told the same BS everytime I call their awful customer service team
Customer made $58k payment via the merchant service and they have held it since Dec 16th. They refuse to give the money back to the customer and will not give it to us. We were unable to make payroll due to this. Why take the money from his account 3 days later if there was a problem with the payment? Why not just .. give it back to him? If I could give ZERO STARS I would! Quickbooks received a $20,000.00 payment from our customer via a quickbooks invoice. The have had my money since Dec 7th and will not deposit into my banking account. Every time I submit documents that they need to release my funds, they require more without even telling me what they need. It has been in a "Review" for over a week now and everytime I call or check they tell me it will be another 2-3 days for the funds to be released. After purchasing a Stand alone software for my desktop computer, Intuit quickbooks has force stopped my account from performing functions within the software unless I pay them more money to upgrade. I purchased a Stand-Alone software to avoid further payments. Now with their internal connections to the software, they have rendered my functions useless unless I pay more money. What a scam! BEWARE!
Re: 2021 tax returns. All recommended upgrades in assistance were paid for. TT stated a fed tax return of over $6K. Actual return was $0. Phone call to TT agent to inquire about the difference. He stated that TT would be able to discover the nature of the discrepancy for a fee of $1,800 (!?) To add to the problem is that TT agent would not tell me what my estimated taxes for 2022 would be. Wrote a letter to TT about the situation; no response. Resent the letter via certified mail with return address receipt. Still no respons... read more
The level of fraud and corruption that this company is somehow allowed to get away with is truly astounding. My most recent reason for attempting to contact them resulted from them cancelling my subscription which should be valid for another six months. I did not consent to the cancellation. I called and they said it looks like it was a glitch in their system where an incorrect end date was added to my account. The only solution: To pay for a new subscription. Intuit/Quickbooks has THE ABSOLUTE WORST customer service i've ever had to deal with. It's my belief that the CS reps must work from home, and when they tire of helping you, they simply disconnect. If you try to change Authorized Users" for your account, well, plan on spending weeks upon weeks of phone calls and texts, and many many hours on the phone only to be told over and over again, you're not an authorized user, even though your name is clearly on the account.
