I have been a Quick Books user for almost 20 years and have had payroll for at least 10, or 12 years. Over the years I've had numerous problems, not the least of which was a telephone rep telling me the mobile QB was compatible with desktop, It's not, and what a mess that caused! Absolutely horrible business practices. They wait until they very end before you can submit your files to charge you for their services. Turns out I can't even use the service anymore due to complications with my returns. I was told I can't get a refund of almost 300 dollars for a product I'm no longer even using. Turbo tax is a complete joke and no one should ever use their services.

QuickBooks will continue to charge you after you cancel. They don't send a cancellation confirmation so when you think you have cancelled, beware they will likely continue to charge you. When you go back in to cancel again you have to sit on chat support for 90 min (and get routed through different teams) for them to tell you that despite having cancelled, you are responsible for the money they charged you. And they confirm that this time you have in fact cancelled (I will know next month if that is true). Would give 0 stars... read more

I have used TurboTax in the past with no issues. This year I was using the app again to fill out my taxes and when I was done, realized they had me using the Deluxe version and they were going to charge $110. I decided not to file through them and used a different website. Even though my taxes were NOT filed through them, they still charged my account! I was under the impression they wouldn't charge me until the returns were submitted... as I'm sure most people would agree. I am highly disgusted and they have lost any chance... read more

Claims my 3 company files are corrupt, Wants $600 to fix!!! month old Quickbooks, same version (actually the exact same disk) installed on both by work and home computers. They will not open at home. I have opened them at my business Three times today, checked usb stick for corruption in chkdsk. All three files open at work, checked them over and over. I'm caused problems with my 2020 return because they can't retrieve the 2019 return that I filed through them and paid them for. Now I must pay a CPA because all the carryover values from 2019 to 2020 are incorrect. TurboTax supervisor admits they cannot solve the problem.

Never use there products, they are a scam!! If you don't file with them every year they hold your information hostage, this is a scam not a tax program. Using an accountant and the refuse to give me any of my tax returns, I have order them from the IRS, but will take 10 or more days. I need this information sooner than that. its my personal data and I will be seeking legal action against Inuit.

THEY SAID THAT I WOULD GET A REFUND BUT NO I GOT A LETTER FROM THE IRS AND HAD TO PAY ANOTHER 600.00 ON TOP OF THE REFUND I WAS SUPPOSE TO GET AND THEN THEY CHARGED ME 140.00 ON TOP OF THAT TALKED TO THEM AND THEY WOULD NOT WORK WITH ME AT ALL I WILL NEVER USE THEM EVER AGAIN THEY DON'T CARE

For the second year in a row, TurboTax has prompted me to upgrade to Deluxe because I need to file a Medicare Form 8959. In fact, my AGI is below the amount that triggers the need to file this form, which is a flaw in the system. Nevertheless, I should be able to delete the form and move on to free filing, but that function does not work either. I called TurboTax, who verified there is an issue with the software and they said the best solution is to just give me a discount code to waive the cost of the upgrade. This process ... read more
