Ok so I'm sick that I switch okla Heart from cardio of Tulsa for my hysbands care. We have a few really bad issues. First started with a pre op visit that started at 12:45 on tues. We checked in reception was good but then we say in waiting room for about hr and half, nurse visit about med,past operations, ECT... Hillcrest is where i had my first 2 out of 11 brain surgeries and where im currently admitted for complications.....the doctors are very kind and knowledgable. Nurses are a bit slow and sometimes rude but overall i am pleased with hillcrest. They have always taken amazing care of me and my rare and hard to treat illness..... for that i am forever grateful. Thank you hillcrest!
The care and attention of the medical staff given to the patient is wonderful. I have no regrets of going there and look forward to my next surgery here in about 3 weeks.
The nurses are very nice and relatively quick in their responses but the bathrooms are really disgusting for visiting people and the food wasn't great in the cafeteria
I think they are doing all they can for my mom the doc says she might have something wrong with her neck they took a ex ray no results back yet.
My mom is here now, she is blind and deaf and wears bilateral cochlears, requested a private room so we can help get her up and so staff can adequately discuss her care with her but got a semi-private. I have been standing at bedside for 2.5 hours after we have asked for a chair. They put her on a bedpan with the other patient's husband in the room. My mom, Dorothy Barfield was lifeflighted to Hillcrest from Pryor with liver & kidneys shutting down & a DNR in order! When i arrived they would not let me see her until they had her settled in. Does it really take 3 hours to get a patient settled in? By the time my Dad n 4 of us kids got to go back she had already passed away! I spent 4 days in room 6622 . All of the employees I can in contact with was very professional and kind. Highly recommend this hospital and it's personnel.
My aunt is in the heart part of the hospital. The nurses are very wonderful and kind the day and night I stayed with her they took very good care of her and me made sure I didn't need anything. Only one nurse would clean her hand before and after entering her room which they all are supposed to do other than that it was the best staff I have ever seen at any hospital thank you so much for being kind and compassionate toward our family and our aunt thank you and god bless you all
