Even during shift change, 7 tower staff here is very efficient.
My Mother was a patient after having a seizure, & at first the experience was exceptional. She spent time in the ER as well as the ICU without any problems. However, when she was moved to a regular bed on the 6th floor I was astonished at the lack of care she had & how horrible they treated her. It took hours for her to get anything that she requested & after spending time visiting her I seen her nurse outside across the street smoking the majority of the day so I then understood why it took so long to get anything. The doctors and nurses all 5 stars. Waiting rooms a bit small and crowded. No bed in my pre-op room. Lots of pre-op rooms without beds. Finally got one when I told them I had to lay down to draw blood. The staff, doctors, nurses ect, made everything easy and fun. Overall, very happy.
I took my sister in law for x rays..however she was seen and taken care of promptly..staff very polite and friendly..I'm from California and Will definitely brag of your facility..
My dad was brought from Cushing, have had a wonderful care and Drs!
I had a hysterectomy there and Dr Witham was my OBGYN, he and his staff were awesome, very willing to answer any questions. My daytime nurse was a little to be desired but my night time nurse was great. Would highly recommend Dr.Whitham to any woman! Thank you for your help and great care Hilcrest!
A family member of ours had surgery here and after some complications had to be placed in ICU. My husband and I stayed a few days with him there and couldn't have been more impressed with the staff. Everyone from housekeeping, cafeteria workers, nurses, respiratory therapists, etc. were extremely helpful and friendly. They not only took excellent care of the patient but also wanted to make sure the family's needs were met. Will definitely recommend this facility to others. I've never been a fan of Hillcrest hospital, but I would like to commend Jennifer a nurse on the 10th floor who helped take care of my grandmother. She was great. She was very nice, courteous, and always tried to make sure my grandmother was comfortable. After a few problems down in the ER she was a breath of fresh air.
