Well I think lack of communication is a bit of a problem here but then again I've seen that in several hospitals. However that being said our nurses were FABULOUS! The care they gave my daughter was wonderful. They were truly caring and very helpful. I was very impressed. We had Dr. Echevarria as our hospitalist and he's amazing. I can't say enough how thorough, caring and genuinely nice he was! Overall it was a fairly pleasant couple days in the hospital. As pleasant as it CAN be being we were in hospital ;)
You have certain employees working for you that don't uphold the kinds of standards that I expect from nurses. Using Facebook to bully teenagers or just community members.
I had a GREAT surgeon, anesthesiologist, and the main overseeing doctor comma that really helped me. As well as very very, absolutely wonderful nurses, expecially one named Emily I have this afternoon. I don't know Emily's last name, but she was a wonderful nurse and helped me in every way she could I hope someone lets her see this!
My mother is currently in Hillcrest and the attention she has received is awesome. Very sweet and caring nurses, Doctors and Aides.
I had an outpatient surgery procedure earlier this month at Hillcrest and it was a wonderful experience. Everyone was nice and professional and I could sense that they cared about me as a person, not just a procedure. Thank you Dr. Palomino for your skill, expertise, and thoroughness. The best people taking care of me. The nurses have a good bedside manner. Always ask if I need anything. Food is a little bland but it's a hospital, but for your diet it is expected.
Dr. appointment. Parking is horrible. Im disabled and had to park across the street near the back in the over flow. Waited an hr to go back to exam room. My Dr is always pleasant and staff is awesome. So I guess it kind of levels itself out.
I absolutely LOVE my doc here as well as his staff in the womans center - BUT the parking is a nightmare ! I spend at least 30 min every appointment looking For parking - there is a parking garage but never anything open- i believe it is filled with staff vehicles. There is a parking lot but it is quite a walk especially for a 9 month prego. They have valet but there is never anyone there and if there is there is a giant line .
Worse hospital ever!!!! Direct admit took over 12 hours to see a doctor after being transferred. most of the staff was rude and just stood at the nurses station talking. Complained and filed a grienvence to DON over other problems that happened was suppose to hear from Risk Management and that has never happened. That has been over a month ago obviously this hospital does not care!!
