Had a new system installed not to long ago by Hamstra. Big John is an incredible guy, and I was very happy to do my business with him. He is a great asset to the team at Hamstra. While the install had its downsides, he was very quick to see if it could be fixed to my likings. Then today, it shuts off, due to a clogged drain line in the wall. Jay Vander Weg came out to my house quickly after I called for help. The AC unit couldn't hold the temperature, and not just because it was hot outside. Jay did something to the outside unit and told me to set the AC to 78-80 and not to turn it off. Worked! I am now comfortable in my home. Thanks Hamstra!
Had Hamstra out to fix a balky AC unit. They were responsive, on time and professional. Steve quickly diagnosed the problem then, replaced our run and start capacitors. We were up and running within the hour. This has been our typical experience with this company. They are consistently excellent. Once a few years ago, I called about our furnace when the heating burner would start, but not stay lit. They told me to try cleaning a flame sensor, and told me how to do it. My AC quit working late on a Saturday afternoon (107 degrees). I called Hamstra and spoke with Sara. She was friendly and properly concerned about my problem and the heat. Sara arranged to have Victor come out within 2 hrs of my call. Victor arrived promptly and quickly diagnosed the problem. He provided excellent information and pricing to repair the unit.
