RecommendedLove the ability to pay for electricity at wholesale prices.
I really like the cost savings and simple ability to monitor prices and have the related management options of my electricity usage. I will say that it becomes tedious to deal with it during the problematic months of Jul, Aug and Sep when prices can spike crazily. I will consider what I will do during those months next year but also will look for leadership from Griddy to bring solutions to bad wholesale prices at that time of year.
Not sure about the horrible experience posts, I've never had to call them for anything. As far as cost, some months might be more but if you take the whole year into account it should be less. Granted I'm a techie at heart and one thing you should put into place is smart thermostats that adjust thresholds based on price. I'm saving around 15-20%!
Was skeptical at first, but after the bad summer with record temps was over the prices have been outstanding. Will really be a cost saver as the year goes on.
After one year even with a expensive August my monthly average was only $118 Prior services were $150 average

I love the Griddy app. It let's me know exactly what I'm paying for electricity in near real time. I also like the alerts for when wholesale prices increase, so I can reduce my energy consumption.
Great business model for people who have control over their energy consumption. Also helps protect the grid from over demand and better for the environment. WIN, WIN, WIN!!!
The cost savings work well if you educate yourself on the pricing structure. Great communicators about potential price spikes!
