RecommendedBefore I heard of Griddy I was paying an enormous monthly fee with a competitor for "OUR SERVICE" but with Griddy you literally pay for your usage ONLY and forget all the surcharges and made up fees...Griddy is AWESOME...come save with us daily...
I use griddy my business locations. My average cost for the year is much lower than previous (i'm averaging 7c at one location and 4c at another, expect it to go down more for the year) and that is with being open during "peak" hours and having to heat and cool at those times. Yes, the price spikes can suck but if you monitor them and use ifttt the shut down hvac, other high energy items you will end up saving a ton!
I've been using Griddy since July and so far I've really liked it. It's easy to see the current price of electricity, and with my Nest Learning Thermostats, I'm able to make adjustments when the price spikes so that I end up saving money each month.
Been using Griddy for over a year now. I love it! I have saved about $20 - $40 a month. But you need to take advantage of the fact that you can see market price for energy. If you use energy when the price is high, you may pay more than you would had you been with another company on a Fixed Rate. But if you are on a variable rate with any other company, switch to Griddy!

I'm disabled and before switching to griddy my bill was $380-$425 with griddy its been $125 love my griddy
I personally paid $80 last month, a bill that is usually $150+ for my 2400 sq foot home!!! This month so far, my bill is $14! And the month is already halfway over so at this rate my November bill will be $30 if I continue to monitor the app for any price spikes and adjust my usage accordingly. I love the app and notifications and it’s very easy for me to adjust my usage- especially if it means saving HUNDREDS!
The savings are real. BUT, yes there’s a big but here. In the beginning of the year all was good. I was never paying over $.09/kWh. Pending your usage saving can be substantial. Now here’s the BUT. In August I paid $120 more than the average Texas consumer. Which means a lot of the saving got eaten up. All in all I’m staying with Griddy.
