Griddy is hands down the absolute best electric company to use here in Texas! If you like transparency, weekly service updates and control then you will absolutely LOVE Griddy! Since I switched to Griddy , for the first time I feel like I’m in true control of my electric consumption and management.
Griddy really makes managing your energy usage super easy. The app that provides you updated pricing every 5 min is great. I have saved over $200 since joining in May, and that includes the brutal August where we had record demand multiple days.
Since switching to Griddy I have saved so much money. I like how simple it is, no contracts just pay as you use. No hidden fees like other companies. Everyone needs to use Griddy!
Been using it for a few months and the prices have been fair. I avg better than "normal" pricing. The weekly email is nice but I admit a few times the prices have increased a bit after the weekly email and would like to see more "static" pricing on the "week in review"
Transparency. You know exactly what you are paying for. The spikes should be regulated so that there is a cap on how much the increase can be over a temporal increments, such as 10 minutes.
Griddy is so simple and easy to use. Everyone complaining about their bill going up obviously doesn’t know how to use Griddy. They send out notifications when the prices are high and that’s when you need to turn your lights off, it’s as simple as that. And when they’re back to normal or low just go back to your normal light usage. I love that about Griddy. It makes it easy to live for a cheap price
It's a good way to save on electricity if you are willing to keep track of when you use power.
