I was lied to from the start from the gym as they never gave me a copy of a contract that I had. So when I now went to cancel my membership I found out that I will be charged 100s of dollars for 5 more months. This is completely unethical and I am trying to contact someone higher up and I have had no luck. I will never attend EOS now that they are trying to financially cripple me. I hope I get a response from them.

I cancelled my account in March of 2020. I have been charged monthly since then for my account, my husband account and childcare that no longer exists. I called an employee and they told me fellow employees are reactivating accounts to make money and reach their sales goals. They advised me that my account has been cancelled and I would receive a refund for the fraudulent charges. The refunding process is absolutely ridiculous. I canceled my membership a day after I signed up and that was back in June. However, till this day I have received NO refunds. I consistently go into the gym every week to get an update on my refund and every single time I am told "oh, it should be back into your account 7-10 days from today." Cancelling is a nightmare and feels like a scam. I was hung up on, ignored, rerouted and charged an annual membership even after I told the membership was cancelled.

I canceled my membership after being told I owe nothing more. I responded I will be coming back when things return to normal. I since have recieved an email saying i owe 76 then i call and associate says 17.99. After repeatedly being told i owed zero. Today I received a charge for $64.49 from my gym in San Diego. I called and explained that I had left back to school in Michigan and would not be returning. I spoke with ABC financial, they were relatively pleasant until I asked to completely cancel my membership and I refused an account freeze because I won't be back in CA for a while. EOS will not cancel your membership without a lot of jumping through hoops even post surgical procedure.

Gym itself is fine. I just had a horrible, long, drawn out experience to cancel my membership. After months of being closed they still charged a regular annual fee, which I felt wasn't appropriate, so I called to cancel.
