The operations managers have been pleasant throughout this process but I’m extremely unhappy with their business practice. When EOS began accepting memberships prior to the official opening/gym completion they offered a fantastic promotion- with your gym pass you got a VIP guest pass and childcare for $19.99. Mid January rolled around and we signed paperwork and paid fees. I’ve been trying to cancel my PT since 3 weeks ago and they told me it was taken care of. Today I got charged again for $165 and I called as soon as I noticed that and they told me the manager wasn’t there, and I would have to wait until he got there, for a phone call. I didn’t receive one, so I went over to the location and the guy at the front desk told me he couldn’t help me and there was no one who could, but once again left a note for the manager to call me. Last week I was working out at one of the locations in the Phoenix area. A manager approached and proceeded to touch me in order to get my attention. I found this to be extremely inappropriate. I do not appreciate any stranger touching me, especially not during a pandemic. The manager warned me about not having a mask on when I was about to take a drink of water. He then said I was able to take the mask off when drinking water so I was confused. This manager was extremely rude during the experience and very unprofessional. I... read more

Great experience until Covid. Asked to freeze my account since I care for my elderly mother. Was told I wouldn't be charged. Found charges on my account and was told the freeze had to be renewed. EOS Oceanside Operations Manager Jennifer Glasman was more than happy when I asked to cancel my membership.

So at the Eos in Mesa and Greenfield I upgraded my membership to Black so I could bring my partner with me to the gym. This where all the issues began. I got the complimentary workout from the manager Evan and he convinced me to get a trainer which is something I did want and I would meet them every other week. Meet my trainer Kyle, session goes fine and he tells me he will send me my workout regiment tomorrow. That doesn't happen and I ask for it but he says he promises he will send it tomorrow. There’s a lot of lies and scams going on in the eos in bountiful. I am being denied contact with the general manager and the other assistant manager has not been honest of what he has been doing. I need to get in touch with the GM NOT THE FM or the AREA DIRECTOR. I’ve had it. The managers here are liars and don’t keep their word or policies they change it all the time

"You can unsubscribe anytime without fees." So, the quick run down for my experience is that I had a monthly membership, I did the PT, they kept charging me for PT during Covid even though I couldn't go and use it because I was marked as high risk by my doctor. In fact, I had first tried to cancel my membership in Mar 2020, but they kept putting it on hold instead of cancelling like I wanted them to. I canceled my account after I moved out of California. I realized about 3 months later that I was still getting charged. When I called they told me there was no notes that said I had canceled even though I had already called and done the 30days notice. Then the woman proceeded to tell me I couldn’t cancel the account because I wasn’t the primary person when I was the one who walked into EOS signed me and my partner up and have been paying with my card! Makes it impossible to cancel their service. When I was left with my only choice, changing bank accounts, they continued to bill me (despite not using their services any longer) and sent me to collections. I consider this to be highly unethical.
