I was signed up for personal training back in October 2020 at the Awhatukee location off Elliot. Signed up for 180.00$ every 2 weeks. I got sick and my personal trainer got sick as well, so I was put on freeze for a while. I decided to go back, and at some point I was paying 360$ (Being charged 180$ twice every pay period week) every 2 weeks. Which adds up to 720$ a month. Which is pretty high for an EoS fitness. My girlfriend and I signed up for PT but they never had us review the contract or tell us that we had to pay for 8 weeks, and when we tried to cancel they told us we had to wait 30 days plus still pay even when we informed them we could not afford it. They don’t care at all about what kind of situation you are in because of the pandemic, all we want is to cancel out PT because it’s too expensive. Ridiculous.

I have tried to cancel my membership several times. I was told my only option was to freeze my account. I have contacted several times (even within the 30 day window). I do not have the funds to pay for the membership fees and don't feel like I should have to since I am no longer using the facility due to loss of wages from Covid. I also do not feel comfortable going to to the gym during a mask mandate. So I have already been annoyed with them because of all of the ridiculous fees they tack on to about anything. If you have not been with them for a year, you have to pay 50 dollars to switch locations. I was kicked out, and have to drive 30 minutes to my other gym because I literally cannot afford to pay 50 dollars JUST to switch gym locations. My boyfriend wanted to downgrade his plan a little while ago because he didn’t realize he was paying 25 dollars to go to one gym, when he could be paying 10. They kind of tricked him ... read more

I was blackmailed over text into signing up with them when I attempted to leave .

Trent, thank you for your BBB submission. I must say that it is not part of our culture to blackmail prospects into signing up. Our memberships are so affordable and typically those touring the gym decide to join on their own accord. I was able to find a membership that was canceled out in May of 2019. If there is another membership to be canceled, then please let me know. I sent you an email.

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. Worst experience with the club at Russell/Pecos. I called in December 2020 to close my son's account. I was told I had to give 30 day notice and that I would still be charged in January. Fine, whatever. Payment came out in January and I called after to make sure it was closed. I was told it was. WRONG.......payment came out in February again. I called several times to get a refund and got the biggest run around ever. They now say the account shows it was cancelled in January and the Feb. ... read more

They misled me into believing I'd get a two week free trial with a personal trainer when in reality they charged me for the "free trial" sessions for the week I went. They are now demanding over $1,000 and their excuse is the contract they tricked me into signing. This place is full of scumbags who will try to convince anyone to get into any of their programs just to get money and screw their own customers over.

EOS has billed me three times for fees I was not supposed to pay. The facility is on Gilbert Road and Mc Kellips. I received written confirmation from the manager at that facility stating that my membership would be first put on hold due to COVID yet they billed me two times for the monthly fee and then I requested my membership to be cancelled because they billed my account for the annual fee and I was NOT supposed to pay that either. I was informed on January 19th that the refund would be back on my account in one month. I... read more
