I currently have a membership at EOS on Elliot and around June I was convinced to sign up for personal training, but my luck they shut down cause of covid the very next day, when they opened back up I wanted to cancel my PT due to funds and they said I was under "contract" and that id have to dispute it with ABC financial (handles their finances) I called and received no answers so I went again in person to complain and yet again they did nothing, I went a third time and the least they could give me was a 6 month freeze on m... read more

EOS on 59th Avenue and 101 Freeway has given me a plethora of issues over the past 2 1/2 years that I have been with them. Even now when I have already cancelled my membership back in November of 2020 they suddenly started charging me on March 8thfor monthly membership again.. OUT OF NOWHERE.. So, I started with both the membership and the personal training when I first started at EOS. From what I heard to be with a personal trainer, you are in a contract for 6 months. They did not inform me about how you need to put in 30 days for the cancelation to go through, and during those 30 days you're still going to be charged. I cancelled my membership in October of 2020 at EOS AZ Ocotillo 4185 S Gilbert Rd Chandler, Arizona 85249. I called today and asked to speak to the manager. The person who answered the phone came back to the phone and said she was the manager. I asked for her name and she said her name was Meredith. She confirmed I canceled and stated they changed systems and that I must have got lost in the shuffle. She put in the cancellation and promised I would be refunded. Do not trust the personal trainers! I had signed up in November under good faith from the personal training assistant manager. After expressing my first incident with a personal trainer in the past, I was promised that I was not going to have any issues. My first trainer with them, yes my first one, stoped contacting me out of no where. I couldn’t get any explanation on why she (Maddie), stopped reaching out to me and wouldn’t respond back to my messages. I canceled my account a month ago, but I was given a $140 charge on my credit card. I have tried repeatedly over the last couple of weeks to get in touch with someone, but they do not answer the phone or respond to emails.

I have been going to the EOS gym in Murray. When I was signing up, the employee was going through things very fast, not being very through, and at one point was giving me false information. I had just been cleared from my second double knee surgery that year and my surgeon mentioned that it would be a good idea if I do start working out that I work with a personal trainer. Don’t trust the staff or people in charge. I was so excited to sign up for personal training in early 2020 and stuck to it faithfully up until covid hit. A year later, my income has been deeply affected and I can no longer spend extra money on personal training sessions. It’s been 10 days total now of me trying to cancel my personal training and Michael Zeno (the dtla fitness manager) keeps giving me the run around and not giving me any actual updates.
