The process back then was to call *** to cancel where all call are recorded and log or you could visit the club in person to cancel. Those did not take place in regard to notations on the account. The swimming pool water today is opaque and disgusting to the point I refused to get in. I have complained several times in the past but no action. In spite of claims of enhanced cleanliness there are serious cleaning issues. I am reporting them to the health district. I wish I could rate my dealing with *** with no stars. I was scheduled to have surgery about a month after i joined ***. The doctor told me the exercise before hand would improve recovery. So i went to the local ***. I decided to join @ ***** per month and went to the sign up desk. They had a small signature pad which I used. The wanted my signature about 6 times or so. I was told by the one of the sales reps that if I were to cancel my personal training at any time he would have the power to do that with no issues. Our processing company, ***, does post everything with the banks 5 days prior to debiting. You next billing was two days later at midnight and *** could do nothing with the account. That's one of the reasons they do ask for a 30 day cancellation so there is time to process the accounts correctly. *** had a horrible experience. 12 weeks pregnant, without work & currently no longer interested in attending the gym at this time. At the beginning of signing up, I was told I can cancel at any time. Im furious with Eos. What happened was i was curious about personal training sessions when they told me that Id just be paying 145 and thats it, but left out that it was biweekly!! Once i found out that money was taking out biweekly, I was furious and contacted the General manger He told me theres nothing I can do except find someone to take over the sessions. Upon signing up I was offered training sessions, I explained to them that I would not be able to afford them due to financial hardships. They offered me a one time deal of (4) 30 minute sessions for under $20 so I went ahead and signed up for the 4 sessions. However they failed to inform me that by signing up for the 4 sessions would enroll me in a 6 month program paying $148, which is not the price they offered me in the first place. I called the ******** EOS 6/11 to cancel my membership. Today on 7/9 they took out another full month's membership. I called the ******** EOS and asked if I was going to be prorated the balance. I was advised no. I then asked them to explain as that would be a 58 day cancellation not a 30 day cancellation and ***** could not. I was hung up on after I asked to speak to a manager.
