I see that the team is working with you and they submitted an immediate cancel of the PT agreement. I also see they assisted by providing a one month freeze on your member and that you be using the sessions on the account. So happy they were able to assist.

First, the club itself is great. Its at ********************************************** However I have been overcharged for personal training 4 times. It was supposed to end in mid July. I talked to the Fitness Manager, *****, at the end of July. I have been charged 3 more times after that at $68 per charge. *** talked to ***** a couple of other times, the assistant Fitness Manager twice, the operations manager last week. To which he took a phone call and shut the door in my face. And lastly Ive emailed the district manager a... read more

I asked specifically if there were any other fees other than the monthly charges and ****** the ** at alta and rainbow lied directly to my face and said "no". Then I am charged after the first month an additional 50 bucks. This company is taking peons money and lying to get them to sign up.

First of all I didnt know I had 5 days to cancel with no fee ? I had no idea I needed a 30 day cancellation notice. *** been trying to get in contact with the manager serval times and the employees always tell me his not in. Ive been to the gym and get told I need to speak to a certain person in order for me to cancel the personal trainer. And when I s... read more

When I enrolled for membership and personal training, I was charged a membership fee/enrollment fee of ~$151, betr health starter session fee $19, (so called) one time upgrade of $60 for the PT, one time annual fee of $60 and then I signed up to I pay $228 every other week. But I ended up getting charged for $288 each time in spite of paying all the initial charges ($60 more than that what I had signed up for). I had called to ask for explanation of charges. The managers kept telling me that it was an upgrade fee (which I ha... read more

I have personal training at ***************************************************************. My issues started when my billing cycle was incorrectly entered by the fitness manager when I enrolled in training. Because of this, they had to "fix" it but gave me no warning that I would be charged $156 three times in one month. I spoke to my trainer and the district manager who was in the store at the end of July; the DM was training a new fitness manager. In that conversation the DM told me there was nothing they could do about ... read more

My experience at EOS Fitness in ******** has been a nightmare. They pressure people into signing up for personal trainers mentioning you can cancel anytime. After losing my job and needing to relocate, I was told there is nothing I can do. Given my situation, I'm now forced to pay for services I'm not recieving. Notice how all the reviews on the BBB website are all regarding the same issue. There needs to be more transparency, so many people are being taken advantage of by their unethical business practices.

Business response:

Hello. Thank you for highlighting your experience. I have reached out to our District Fitness Manager and also out Regional Vice President of Fitness to assist you further.

This e-mail is for your information and a matter of record related to my treatment at your ************** EOS facility. Upon touring the facility, I was told that with a new membership you get an hour free with a trainer.Upon signing to become a member I was requested to have a credit card on file. I was presented numerous e-signature forms for which I received no copies. ***** at this facility was extremely pushy.. telling me what I was going to do. The next day I found a $19 charge by EOS on my credit card. I called and sp... read more

My membership is paid through my job. I havent even been to the gym 1 full month and now I have problems. The personal trainer I was told I could get once a week for $80 no weekly with an introductory payment of $18 biweekly for a month. I got my bank statement back and they have charged $156 biweekly.
