Hello, I visited your ER department on 02/04/17. Overall I felt that I received excellent care and left satisfied with my experience. Unfortunately, since my visit over 6 months ago I have been unsuccessfully trying to deal with a billing issue. After receiving the initial bill, my fiancé called to see if we could receive financial assistance given that I am a graduate student with a very small income. I have stage IV endometriosis and went to erlanger yesterday for chest pains and new pain I had been having. I got treated like a drug seeker and was asked why my eyes were so black (I am anemic). I wasn't even escorted to a room and sat out in the waiting room for 3.5 hours with no answers!!! This was a terrible experience and I was completely offended by the lack of compassion these people had!
TERRIBLE ER. I have been to the ER there twice with the same problem... EXCRUCIATING abdominal pain (to the point where I do or almost pass out due to the pain.) I have Crohn's Disease with an extensive surgical history, the worst being emergency surgery because my intestines perforated and my bowels were leaking out into my abdominal cavity. Ive had many problems with the nurses coming in fast enough, ive only found a couple of them that I've felt I can talk to . I was transferred here from seqatchie county hospital and it took 2 days , I was told alser, hernia and acid reflux pain. I wasn't sure what was going on till they took me for surgery. I came out with a tube up my nose and no one was paying attention at first 2 me. I did have 2 nurses wash my hair and clean me since I was uncomfortable. Could not ask for better care. Thank you to the folk in CVICU and the 4th floor for taking care of Larry. and thank you the Ronald McDonald room for giving us a quiet place to spend time while Larry was in CVICU. Great experience at Erlanger and Dr Nailey and the other doctors that took care of Larry you guys rock
Everyone we encountered for the outpatient surgery was very nice and friendly. Even down to Dr. Miller who did the surgery. They have it together and it shows. Highly recommend this place.
