#justiceforEmery The NICU director and the security guards at this hospital seriously need to be trained on how to talk to a distraught parent. No security guard should ever look a parent of a dying baby in the eye and say "your baby was born fragile, but shit happens". That is so wrong and disgusting.
They are the most screwed up half way ran facility that I've ever seen!! Won't even allow the parents to see their 5 month old baby that's in the nicu or can't explain why or how she has a broken arm & leg while in the hospitals care �� yea it's not a great place. I would never recommend it to anybody!!
Ok so I came to Erlanger to have MALS surgery I am as told a hospital stay of 2-5 day and yes I know it varies. My dr (who is not based out of this hospital) told me as long as I could tolerate a liquid and soft diet which I have ..,,, I needed to walk which I have been able to I can get up on my own go to the bathroom on my own and I've had open surgery!
