I have been battling tumor's for 3 years now and they have tended to me even tho I am broke and have no insurance I have never been treated better by a hospital they never turn me away they are incredibly talented doctors and nurses I am glad that I live near this hospital thank you all for being good hearted people with compassion for others
My aunt was having stroke symptoms. We drove her to Erlanger North where she was seen within 5 minutes. Extremely efficient nurse (sorry I don't remember her name). Unable to obtain a blood pressure with machine. She got a manual systolic BP at 236.....way too high. The RN got an IV started along with a Nicardipine drip. She had a CT scan then was transferred by ambulance to the Baroness campus ER. Where she was put in an ER room and taken good care of by every one of the staff. Get into room at 430pm in the er. At 6pm they gave my daughter iv and pull blood. At roughly 7pm the fluids run out and I go ask for blanket and to let them know she is out of fluids. At 722 I go to tell them it's been almost 2 hours since she seen anyone. At 840 i stand outside her door. At 853 I go to the desk. At 9 i get told to go wait in her room nurse will be with me asap. Y’all need to get a Sleep Room for patients relatives that have to stay days on end!! How are they suppose to stay if they are exhausted from no rest! I don’t understand why you don’t already have one. Their is on in Birmingham and in Huntsville and it is awesome for the family. I will go their just because of this. Please do something about this problem because it is a huge problem!!!
I would like to thank The doctors and the nursing staff in surgical ICU and nursing staff on cardiac step down, for taking such amazing care of my husband for 13 long days. The people that work for you are wonderful and caring.
