I'll be glad to tell you. No coffee after 9oclock lights out at ten o'clock. For heaven sake it's a hospital not a school. People are worried to death about their loved ones. At the cost they pay there should be a little concern for them. The icu waiting rooms are awful especially the chairs. No comfort in them. Several years ago we spent 21 days here and it was a 100 times better. It could be a wonderful hospital again if the FAMILY WERE CONIFER AS WELL AS THE PATIENT.

Can someone tell me why they empty the coffee pots in the ICU waiting rooms at 9 pm, and the soft drink machine outside the waiting doesn't work. The cafeteria closes at 1 and there is no where around here where you can even get coffee. I personally don't drink it, but I feel bad for families that have traveled great distances to be here with very sick family members and can't get coffee. A few yrs ago my teenage son had a four wheeler wreck. We were in the er for 14+ hrs. He had X-rays, ct scans. We were sent home being told nothing was broken. He could not walk. He could not even stand. They had to pick him up to put him in a wheelchair to be taken to the car and then picked up to get in the car. We drove home 1 1/2 hrs. Got home and he could not get in the house . He tried to stand and fell in the yard and laid there for a couple hrs until someone could help him crawl in the house. Rant alert!!!! My dad (who is stage IV renal and lung cancer) went to the ER at Erlanger East yesterday with severe nausea and stomach pain. For FIVE hours, he was left in a hall (HIPPA violation???)while he was vomiting and miserable. He was then transported to Erlanger Main Campus via ambulance. They then placed him in a loading area with 50+ other patients and left him there on a stretcher overnight. Keep in mind- he has a compromised immune system. Me and my wife was in a car wreck and was transported from Dunlap to Chattanooga, they admitted us and I was given the worst treatment I have ever received from here . I waited over 5 hours to get my results that would take 30 minuets. I wasn’t given a call light or anything. No one checked on me I had to use the restroom. My mouth was so dry I couldn’t speak. The service was just really really badly.

Horrible new patient treatment! Left messages to make an appointment with Dr. Daniel Kueter. Its been 4 days and they have never called back. Called again to get a very rude and argumentative person who stated they are short handed and will get back to me at some point. She didn't have any care or concern about someone who has severe cervical and nerve issues and pain. I hope someone of authority gets this message!

I had surgery good Friday. Doctor did a great job. 1 Tech, Janice, did a great job. "Jeff" night nurse needs to work with dead people or in a completely different field. He has zero empathy and no desire to do his job. He lied to me when he said, "I read your chart and I can take out your catheter. " I pointed out that I was "packed" from the surgery and was worried about infection. I told him no, he couldn't remove the catheter. He had NO IDEA I was packed for bleeding problems. Absolutely frustrated with Erlanger at this point. My dad has been in ER for over 36 hrs. He was dressed and ready to leave at 2pm just waiting on 1 last test result. They said we should know by 3pm. Its now after 7pm and still nothing. There are people waiting in the ER hallways waiting on rooms and we are sitting here looking at the walls! What a joke!! We started to just leave but was told insurance would not cover the claim if we did! WILL NEVER BE BACK!!
