I wanted shop local so I wen to DVDAW. I knew exactly what I wanted. Found it on-line and knew they had it in stock. Easiest sale Pete ever made in his life. I made all the arrangements for it to be delivered Friday. They agreed. I purchased a GAS dryer and paid $39.99 to have it delivered Friday afternoon after I got home from work. They brought an ELECTRIC dryer. Due to my wanting to attend a funeral Saturday morning, I asked they correct THEIR MISTAKE first thing Saturday. We always use Dick Van Dyke for our appliance purchases. We have shopped around and always find it within a hundred dollars of what they charge for same item. The other stores always want to add in 100 for the cost of the warranty which DVD gives you. We have had great service through them Go see Dave!
#buyersbeware I am giving one star because zero stars is not an option. DVD delivered a fridge that did not fit within its space, The install team did not want to remove it and put our old fridge back in. I went in the next day to get the right fridge ordered. No worries they said....we’ll deliver it next week. Now, next week became 2 weeks, and do you think I got an update? Nope. I called again...now 3 weeks...now it’s a month...now I am hearing nobody ordered my new fridge. New manager says he’s helpless because it’s over ... read more
Good service and a lot of appliances to choose from.
Professional people, very knowledgeable and efficient. We were greeted immediately upon entry. We had looked at the big box stores and one, like usual, had a person from another department covering so she could not answer our questions. By the time we deducted a rebate, considered the free 5/10 year warranty the other add-ins, DVDAW was the best value for us.
16 days of hell. New Year’s Day sale. We were told since we didn’t have a fridge we would be near the top for delivery. Just lies to get the sale. Did a switch on price we bought a white ge paid for it. Then after many lies about deliver Day we get a bill for 76.00 for color change. So they held fridge hostage and threatened to take it out if we didn’t pay it. So we paid it and it had a dent. I said well we should get that money back.
