My four year old daughter fell and badly broke her humerus and elbow. We went to a small town hospital where we were transferred to TC Thompson/children’s at Erlanger. They were AMAZING with her. The Child Life specialist came in and thoroughly explained an IV to her and found her favorite scene of Moana to watch on the iPad while she got the actual IV. Having to wait 3 hours to see an ER physician is beyond ridiculous.
We spend too much time here but are always pleased with the service and attention we get. All the doctors, specialists, nurses and staff are top notch. Our hometown doctor always sends us up here with our critical kids instead of the local hospital.
My daughter had bloodwork done at this facility that took 15 mins. A few weeks later we get a bill stating that the cost was over $4,000. I tried to contact someone to file a dispute and apparently no one is able to speak with the person that handles the disputes. All patients are told to fax a letter stating why they are disputing the charge and expect them to wait at least 14 days before getting an answer in the mail. it was awesome. the staff was very respectful and the people in the emergency room was fast and efficient.
I absolutely love this place they were So good with my daughter and made her feel not scared !!!
