My son has Cerebral Palsy as well as an ultra rare genetic disorder called BPAN. With these diagnoses we’ve spent lots of time at Children’s Hospital at Erlanger with frequents visits. We’ve also had stays at CHOA as well as Monroe Carell Children’s at Vanderbilt, in which providers at Erlanger have sent us for services Erlanger doesn’t offer. Everyone, from the triage staff & information desk attendants to the doctors & nurses here are fabulous! A very sweet custodian even came back after she finished sweeping & brought my daughter, 13, a Beanie Baby to cheer her up while she was on her IV drip. It takes a special kind of medical professional who can work with children and also keep the scared and worried parents calm. I can’t recommend Erlanger enough. ❤️
took my daughter to Childrens , half of her left leg and whole left foot were numb , horrible pain in back running down her legs and the dr on call said she didnt have a need for urgert care ,but he brought up everything, cancer , rare illnesses , diseases , scared my daughter , horrible bed side manners, took her to her reg dr she sent her for xrays , she has spinal stenosis and has to see specialist
When my daughter had a seizure on our move from Missouri to Georgia we were brought here. Everyone was absolutely amazing and helpful to my daughter and me when I knew absolutely nothing and no one. Thank you so much to Children's Hospital at Erlanger.

On July 31st my son was brought in to TC Thompson’s ER due to having seizures. He has a history of febrile seizures and when we arrived at the ER at 5:30, his temperature was checked and shown to be 100.7. After our initial check in, not one nurse came back in to check on him and almost 2 and a half hours later, he ended up having another seizure with a 103 fever.
