I’ll make this short for people looking at reviews to decide whether or not they want to bring their children here. Both my children have been very sick the past couple days and after going to local ER’s and their pediatrician, we ended up here at the Children’s hospital at Erlanger. My children were treated with so much kindness and compassion, they were put into rooms immediately and looked at by a doctor and diagnosed within an hour. In 1990 my daughter was diagnosed with Rheumatic Fever. Dr. John Morgan was the lead pediatric cardiologist. He and his staff along with our pediatrician Dr. Stuart Smith, were wonderful. They told us that years down the road in she may need valve repair or replacement. That happened this year. We are fortunate to have such a fine hospital.
Erlanger and Children’s hospital was the source of my Open Heart surgery on Sept. 27, 1967 to correct an atrial septal defect, I was 15. Grateful to Children’s and the March of Dimes. Back in the day, a person having surgery had to solicit friends, family or church members to donate blood for your surgery. I’ve had great care and am in great shape today, thanks to this hospital.
2 days ago my 3 month old grandson was admitted to Children’s. He was so sick. Thank you to our nurses and doctors for taking such good care of my little man.
Our sweet infant daughter had her first illness that required a trip to the hospital. From the front desk to nurse staff and the Doctor, we had a wonderful experience. I am an employee of Erlanger and after last night, I couldn't be more proud of our facilities. Thank you for making a scary situation not so bad!
