In 1960 John Brann Sr. opened the first John Brann’s Steakhouse in Grand Rapids Michigan. This is where the famous Sizzling Steak got its beginning. John wanted to make sure that families could go out to eat and get a great meal at a great price. The idea caught on because they were selling 800 Sizzling Steak dinners on Saturday nights! WOW!

Good service, good price,good steak,great salad,rolls and baked potato. Only problem they have wimpy forks.
Our waitress was great. The wait time for our food was over an hour! I think they forgot our order! When it finally came out, our steaks were raw in the middle! We were given a 10.00 coupon off our next visit. Really? Not sure I want to go back to that location. The Grandville location is the best one. We should have gotten a discount off our meal, not future meals. We were there on February 4.

Spent $20 on myself left still hungry half of my steak with bristle n fat when the steak was tiny to begin with the sweet potato was nasty couldnt finish it n I got a kid size serving of Mac n cheese which was about a spoon full n costed me an extra 99¢ to order because on the menu said my meal came with two sides when all the sides were pretty much potato options .. staff was professional n kind but for $20 no excuse why I left hungry. I was better off ordering a pizza else where n saving my money or maybe trying the Chines... read more
It's never a bummer when we eat at branns want good steak without the mega prices try branns I'm sure u won't be disappointed two thumbs up
