In 1960 John Brann Sr. opened the first John Brann’s Steakhouse in Grand Rapids Michigan. This is where the famous Sizzling Steak got its beginning. John wanted to make sure that families could go out to eat and get a great meal at a great price. The idea caught on because they were selling 800 Sizzling Steak dinners on Saturday nights! WOW!

Wasn't that impressed ask for my steak to be medium well and it came out well done and asked for the TV to be switched to Nascar which they did but 20 mins later somebody changed it not knowing I asked for it first

We usually go to Branns in Grandville every Saturday night (consistently great food, great service) but it was our anniversary and we decided to do lunch at Branns on Leonard. It was 15 minutes before anyone waited on us. Salad was wrong, my steak was medium rare instead of medium well and by the time I got it back cooked correctly my husband was done eating. I think we'll stick to Branns in Grandville.

We went out for dinner to The Mitten Brewing, unfortunately due to time couldn't wait 1and a half hrs. So ended up going to Brann's, what a mistake. Our waiter seemed overwhelmed and it took a while to get water let alone drinks. Then once we received our steaks, the orders were mixed up. And mine was rare not medium. Not sure we will ever go back there, problems the last 3 times there. I think I gave enough times to get it right, sad to think they have gotten so bad....... The dollar margaritas were good, even though the kept running out of the frozen kind. I think that they need a new Cook! I ordered the pretzels/cheese and they tasted like cardboard. Sent them back and replaced them with something else and it never came. The waiter seemed a bit over worked and the manager was outside smoking cigarettes every time I stepped out to use my phone. Two thumbs down.

Waitress wasn't very good had to get other waitress or bartender for help couple times also wings were way overdone and hard
Very disappointed they don't have fried pickles anymore n we ordered a appetizer and it came just after our meal :-/ "normally" it would come before ur meal
