In 1960 John Brann Sr. opened the first John Brann’s Steakhouse in Grand Rapids Michigan. This is where the famous Sizzling Steak got its beginning. John wanted to make sure that families could go out to eat and get a great meal at a great price. The idea caught on because they were selling 800 Sizzling Steak dinners on Saturday nights! WOW!

Fantastic sizzler and the steamed broccoli was outstanding. Best local steakhouse in town
Great service! game was great, came by myself and had a blast! Very friendly atmosphere �� 5 out of 5!!
Recently had our daughter's rehearsal dinner in the downstairs banquet room. Great food, great service - very accommodating, and reasonable prices.
Very pleased with everything staff and the food was great. Keep it up west side brans !!!!!!!

My sizzler was awful! .so much garlic that I was sick the next day!! Baked potato cool, not hot, very disappointed!

Hadn't been there in many years. Not like what I remembered. Wait staff was not the greatest. Brought out the salads then about 10 minutes later the rolls which turned hard in minutes. Baked potatoes were still hard and not done. Had to ask to have our Club Keno ran after she came by twice and cleared our salad bowls up. Was not to impressed with the service.
I've been going to Leonard Branns for years, had worst experience ever, was not busy, service was horrible, prime was not up to par had to ask for rolls, didn't get check up on, bathrooms were disgusting, will never go there AGAIN..Johnny needs to get better staff!
