In 1960 John Brann Sr. opened the first John Brann’s Steakhouse in Grand Rapids Michigan. This is where the famous Sizzling Steak got its beginning. John wanted to make sure that families could go out to eat and get a great meal at a great price. The idea caught on because they were selling 800 Sizzling Steak dinners on Saturday nights! WOW!

I worked at this location for 8yrs and anyone that's ever worked in a restaurant knows that 8yrs is really equivalent to like 20yrs. Turnover rate is crazy! I was one of many that had been there for that long. That right there just shows how amazing the management and owners are. They treat you like family! Not only there staff but also there customers! The food is amazing and they strive excellence in all aspects. Five stars for sure! Love that family and that place!!
Best food in GR! Always consistent, and that is hard to find now a days. A business that truly cares about its guests. Thank you Brann's!

The service was very good but the food was okay at best. Some of their offerings were just plain bad.
If you only had a dinner like the one you don't order for yourself and. Wife what would you think dinner not satisfied this is the last time ever sincerely
Which star rates zero. Prime Rib mostly fat ,steaks tough as leather, Garden salad was like someone accidentally put three diced tomatoes in it. Mash potatoes had a tsp of gravy. Service was poor , the manager was unkempt and when I asked what the zip code was to this establishment I was told 616. Cmon man
