I made a recent purchase on Black Friday - I bought two rings. The total price was $1,140.00. I was charged 3 authorization holds in a period of 8 days, leaving me with an available credit limit of $305 to spend. Even after I paid my entire billand had a positive balance of $44, I still had a 3 pending authorization holds on the account. I dropped my ring off for repairs on Oct 22 with an expected completion date of November 5. Zales representative called me on Nov 11 stating I needed to pay $500 to get my ring repaired. When I originally purchased the ring, I purchased a lifetime warranty on it. When I dropped it off the representative told me that the repairs would be free because my warranty would cover the repairs. I placed an order online through Zales, I never saw any details before or after my purchase throughout the website or my order that you have to cancel within an hour or you have to return the item either mail or instore. The only way I found out about this bogus return policy is by looking allllll the way at the bottom of my confirmation email in small writing. I bought a diamond ring for my wife a few years ago at a store in *********** **********. I found out after a long time of the purchase that the employee that sold the ring to me, stole my identity and my credit was terrible for a long time after this incident, He bought another ring from the same store for about $3,000 under my name.

I bought a Princess Villianring from Zales May 13, 2021 for the amount of $1,800 dollars. Twice the center stone has fallen out third time Zales sent the ring to a jeweler to add two extra prongs on the ring and to replace the center stone again. The ring was due back 10/22/2021 was available for pickup 11/12/2021. When I pick up the ring at Zales for the third time the center stone is crushed and scratched, so bad you can see it with the naked eye. Order placed Sept 2 but Had to get my ring resized to fit my finger came back oct 7th and there was a flat spot on the bottom of the shank told them I wanted it fixed advised me that the jewelry isn't machine made so imperfections are do going to be there they told me 2 weeks I would have it back. 2 weeks goes by it's about oct 21 I had to call them to see if my ring was back that's when they told me it's going to take longer they have to replace the shank and mentioned they had to cover the costs of it they told me they ord... read more

I ordered a bridal set online. It came in within a week. I went to the store to look at it and then it was sent to be sized a couple days later. The ring came back about a week later and was faded and brownlooking in color. The lady tried her best to clean it to no avail.
