There is an item I wanted to purchase that is presented as $144. When I put it in the cart it jumps to $192. I called to ask what was going on and they said it is not the price it is shown as, it is the price that appears in the cart! Seriously!!! False ad!!!

If I could give them less than one star I would believe me... I've never had such a terrible shopping experience as I have with Zales. All of their stores are closed in UT so my only option is to deal with their online department. ALL I WAS TRYING TO DO IS BUY A GIFT CARD... I get one over the phone with their agent and hours later I get an email saying it's cancelled. I call they say oh you can't buy gift cards over $2K which the agent did not tell me previously. Worst experience ever with a jeweler. In short, bought an engagement ring. A year after having it, we had to send it off to get it slightly resized. Here’s where the issue starts. Sent it off, took 2 months to get it back. Once we received it, it was broken. Had to send it back. They wanted to charge us for them breaking the ring, but quickly waived the charge. If I could give the Zales store on Memorial Parkway a zero I would. I was treated like a nobody when I went into this store 4/12/21 by the short guy I guess was in charge that day. I wanted to buy a gold or silver chain and all he could do was insist I put a mask up to my eyeballs when I already had one on even though the mask mandate was over or he would have to help me outside the store. So I left and went to Kay Jewelers and bought a lovely necklace. I will never go to Zales store again there customer service is AWFUL.

One star is being generous. On March 8th I attempted to buy a wedding ring for my fiancé online. Went through the whole process of ordering the ring and hit the submit payment button only for a red line error to come back saying the item was no longer in stock. Checked my bank account to make sure order did not go through and it showed that Zales charged my card, not once, but twice for the amount of $393.66!! Worst card service ever. Horrible workers horrible everything. Nothing about this company is good. The apr rates are insane the payment center takes a week and half to take out money. When you made a payment on a Monday at 12 noon you shouldn’t have to wait 10 days for them to take the money. This place is ridiculous.

I bought two silver chains on December 30. They were received here but were Not quite right. Each of the two boxes contained a return label. The boxes were re-packed with each label on each box. This was in January. I received no notification by email that the packages had been received. I called today, THREE MONTHS later, and they told me that they were "received TODAY". REALLY? Purchased an item online via paypal for 148$ and I returned it via USPS the following day because the color of the metal made it look more like stainless steel than sterling. About a week later I received an email saying the returned item was received and that a refund would be issued within 7-10 days. I BELIEVED THEM. Nice jewelry, friendly staff. Until you have a problem! We wanted to trade a ring in a few months after buying it. We then were told that the trade-up value has to be double the original. That came as a surprise to me as I was never told that. So I asked to speak with a manager to see if he would be willing to work with me.
