If I could rate with no stars I would, this place should be shut down nobody should have to put up with the nonsense this company has brought on me. First do not I mean do not get a wellness plan, it is a scam for them to force medications on you that are not good for our pets. I specifically told my Banfield location I wanted a certain heartworm medication I had been using for my dog since I adopted him and they completely disregarded me because of my wellness plan. They are scammers, they give you a plan without notification and then you can't cancel it. You call and they leave you on hold for an hour or more, they send you to another department and you continue on hold for another hour. This supposed medical plan is a scam, and they also threaten to send you to the credit bureau. Psychologically I am very affected, I also checked my bills and they charged me for tests and medicines that were not indicated for me. This is everything wrong with this hospital

I have made multiple attempts to contact Banfield Wellness regarding phone calls of a billing issue (I was given the option to pay $50/mo) and have now been given information that I have until next week to pay a lump sum ($200) of my deceased pets remaining amount of billed service or it will go to collections. Their wellness plan is a scam. Like all of the rest of the reviews, I was told by their South ****** location staff that all kinds of services were covered under a monthly plan and I could cancel any time. Meanwhile, they still take your pet out back and you're not allowed to go with them despite Covid restrictions being over. Then they bring her back and tell you they went ahead and did things without asking you first! They will not approve my dog's prescription because the vet who I saw a few months ago has left the practice. The prescription was approved for a year, but I purchase the product quarterly. They insist I have to bring my dogs in to see another vet. It is completely ridiculous, and they obviously do not care about keeping animals healthy or they would approve the Chewy order for the preventative medications my dogs are on. Certified GARBAGE, the only scam that exceeds this is 3 card ****** Once you get the insurance its an annual contract although it was explained as a monthly plan. Took the dog to get his teeth cleaned Vet wanted to do blood work first (covered in the plan) his labs came back with low liver levels so she didn't want to do the teeth cleaning and that's understandable. Trying to cancel my wellness plan and can't get anyone on the phone. Seems intentional. Waited on the phone 55 minutes then *** said he could not find the plan. Waited 37 minutes and then they hung up the phone. Waited 1 hour 25 minute then pushed 1 for a call back. Called me back about 30 minutes later and he said he had to transfer me to a different department so I was put on hold again. Pushed 1 for a call back and nothing 4 hours later. Will definitely spread the word to avoid this place. They talked me into a plan during a visit, highlighting ****************** of course. Never bothered to mention I would be locked into a year long contract. Just tried to cancel and they want to charge me $500 for services that they wont even be providing. Business like this, that are constantly trying to get something for nothing are really the scum of the Earth.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! SCAM! RIPOFF!I am requesting a refund for ********'s x-rays (*****) of $254.72 on 7/21/23.I was referred to SAVES last week, and they told me the **rays are unusable, unreadable. Upstate Vet in ********** told me the same thing over the weekend. ***** has been in a health crisis since 7/21.
