Axos Bank accepted payments on their app. Unbeknownst to me the app was not collecting the money. They then stole my car claiming no payment despite the proof offered. They are criminals.

Axos is a rip off. I have a car loan and got a late charge because they took 3 weeks to cash the check . I called customer service and there phones crackle and don't work . So we hung up called on another phone same thing . The customer service guy said they are having phone problems for awhile. **************** said they would call us back because we want the late charge reversed. Never got a call back . Despite the negative reviews, I attempted to open a business account with them as they do not charge a monthly fee. The registration of my company took place 9 years ago, with me listed as a member under my own name. However, upon contacting me, they inquired about green card or **** due to my non-English name. I wonder which type of **** would allow someone to legally work and reside in the US for 9 years since work ****s only permit a maximum of 6 years. Avoid this bank. As a small business they overcomplicate everything, customer service is abysmal and they hold your funds hostage.Leaving as soon as I can access my money.

DON'T USE THIS BANK. The risks are far outweighed by any so-called benefit. They hold your money -- whether it be a check or a transfer-for so long no matter how long you have the account. They will hold it for 10 days and tell you they have to hold it for 5 days. I guess they can't count so I do not trust that as a bank. Also when you contact customer service you will get a different, WRONG, answer from every one you talk to. NOT WORTH IT. They also just updated their app and it is full of advertisements. I've been an AXOS bank customer (you're going to ask "why??") for almost 7 years. Last year they could not have MORE effed up a wire. MULTIPLE times, because of failure on their part (like losing the wire form, but had my secure message logged and never contacted me to ask for a new one (SO THEY MISSED DAY ONE), then acknowledging they received it the second time AND PROMISING THAT THEY WOULD CALL ME FOR WIRE CONFIRMATION) they never did, nor did they tell me that they ONLY contact clients through their messaging platform - ... read more

Absolute Nightmare - Axos Bank Is a Disgrace!I am utterly disgusted by the despicable behavior of Axos Bank. I made the unfortunate decision to open a checking account with their so-called "promo code," which supposedly guaranteed a $100 bonus upon fulfilling certain requirements. Guess what?
