It took us 4 months to refinance, we have excellent credit, it was really a no brainer, I was a mortgage broker many years ago. It was the most ****** stressful experience. I submitted a document to prove my address. They did not accept it. I called and the customer service representative reviewed the uploaded document, confirmed it verified my address, and told me he didn't know what the problem was. I asked him if he worked for the bank, since I was trying to confirm my address with the bank, and he said he did but that it was another department. I asked him to talk to that department and he hung up on me.

I refinanced my car loan with Axos and wish I had kept my higher pament. They negate your ability to prepay (part of your contract) by refusing any electronic payments from other banks that are not for the full amount. They had an issue processing my payment from an account at Axos, then blamed me for the late payment! Seriously stupid people with no customer service chops and crooked to boot.

To future and potential users of this incredibly problematic bank. BEWARE. This bank/ the app is the upmost least helpful in any way/ shape/form. The customer service does not exist. They do NOT help you with any issues you may experience. They lie and take money from you. THIS COMPANY IS A STRAIGHT UP SCAM. A DIGITAL BANK THAT TAKES SEVEN BUSINESS DAYS TO POST DEPOSITS. Currently over 1,000$ is in the ether. They refuse to show micro deposits needed to set up digital payment platforms. Cut off your own arm before doing business here.

Relevant only to online business checking: don't bother. I've used the service for a year, and shortly after setting it up, regretted going through the steps to set up and fund the account. The online interface is about ***** years behind the times (the mobile app is about the same); customer service has technological stiff-arms to make talking to an actual person difficult; customer service via the phone seems to have little ability to do anything with accounts; and moving money in and out of Axos is difficult since they ar... read more

Axos bank is horrible, they took 3 advance car payment and told me it was a glich and told im they would send my money back in a month. Its online send my money back. Theirs no manager or their in a meeting for three days.no call back at all.

AXOS Bank is a horrible, antiquated bank. To do a wire you have to print out a form; fill it in by hand; scan it and upload it. Then you have to wait for someone to call before it will be sent. Sometimes that call can be hours. Even their reps I spoke to agreed it is not business friendly. I then did a transfer to another external business account at Chase. Instead of doing it electronically they sent me a check that took 8 days. They were recommended by Nerd Wallet but I think they are in cahoots with each other. They know ... read more

Not user friendly at all. They force you to reset your password every 90 days. If you fail to access your account for awhile you will need to send a notarized letter to unrestricted your account. Horrible! Stay away and don't listen to the shill articles saying that this is a good instution.
