Their business banking interface looks like it's from the 90s. Kicks me out multiple times, not compatible with zelle. Lots of transactions require you downloading a form, filling it out, and then uploading it to a messaging portal. Their staff seems US based and friendly enough but I can't remember seeing worse technology.

Axos bank is a fraud! I've been waiting on my car title for 60+ days after paying off my loan! They keep telling me they have opened a case with the title department and it'll be 15 days until I receive my title. A month later, still no title and they've opened a new case and it'll be here in 30 days. When I ask to speak to the title department, they say "they do not have a direct line or a way to contact them". They have no idea what they are doing!

Avoid. Banking portal does not function correctly and does not show transactions. The modular panel-based functionality tracks transactions on one screen and completely misses them on other screens. I tried reaching customer service and instead of speaking with someone, I was directed to a voicemail inbox. One would expect that a bank would have adequate coverage to take calls and address customer service inquiries.

Axos Bank has provided me the the worst customer service i have ever seen. I am in the middle of handling an estate of a deceased loved one. This process has been ongoing for six months now. It is impossible to reach anyone in their "special assets" branch. When i do reach someone they have no power to resolve the multiple issues and send me to someone else. There is absolutely no internal communication within this company. Hands down the worst customer service and I would advise anyone to NEVER do business with this company... read more

Like everything else online, it's all fine until you have a problem. Last month I placed a hold on my account because I was afraid my computer had been hacked. That went fine, they could do it right away. I was told all I had to do was call again to remove it. Now the danger has passed and I need the hold removed so that I can access my funds. I have several automatic payments that come out of this account. I've been trying for three days to get it removed. Called the first day, told it would take a day. Called the second da... read more

Hands down the worst experience I have ever had with a lender. I own multiple homes and have had multiple lenders in my life, none have even been even close to the terrible experience provided by AXOS. Starting from terrible communication and ending with written emails of promising one thing only to be presented with a loan of a completely different nature, They made multiple math errors on my adjustable loan monthly with zero explanation. A loan agent name ***** contacted ME, for a loan. Gave me a run around for weeks, did everything he asked "verification process " they deposit money that i had to buy a prepaid card with to send back the deposit. Then sent several deposits which were bad checks! At the end of it I am negative $285.00 in my account. After countless attempts to fix this situation. Made promises he never kept. Then never heard from him again. Still negative in my account. Even after closing it and getting a new one. ***** really mislead me.

Left an account with a low balance for a month. Transfered in $200, they accepted it. When I went to use it I discovered my account was closed. They had sent out un requested checks, and charged me for them without approval. This set the account negative, and since I was unaware of the charge, it stayed long enough for them to close the account. After closing the account they still accepted the transfer, but since the account was closed I had no way to get the money. I called and was told that they would mail out a check. 2 ... read more

Axos Bank lost an auto loan payoff check we mailed them. When discovered 30+ days later, we put a stop payment on that check and re-issued a new cashier's check and had it overnight via ***** for processing. It was signed and received by representative at their overnight address. Another 7 days passed after receipt and our new payoff check was not processed. When we called to discuss all this with representatives you talk to multiple people each time before you can get to the right person. Then they take forever to help you.... read more
