I joined Axos bank before it WAS Axos Bank. I originally joined because of the "no overdraft fee" AND no monthly limit/monthly fee. But apparently, during the transition, my accounts became detached/unlinked. By then I had a pretty good payment system in place, but as in life, something unexpected came up and I didn't have enough money in my checking account to cover a check. As others have said, it is impossible to work with their customer service. Often, a representative is not online to assist you. I have been trying for weeks to record my legal name change so that I can deposit checks that were written to my new legal name. I submitted all of the required documentation to their secure message system 14 days ago, have replied to my own message multiple times in an effort to get a response, and still nothing. I have NEVER had a problem opening a bank account. Have spent MONTHS attempting to open an account. Received email from bank stating they were terminating our relationship!!!!!! Never even got to open the account. Even closed the account as they instructed me to do then was terminated!!!!! HORRIBLE

I Strongly recommend getting your money out of this bank as I would not be surprised if its next to fail.

I joined Axos bank about a month ago. They offer excellent rates on savings accounts but their customer service is THE WORST I've EVER dealt with. The automated system suggests using live chat but nobody is ever online. It takes forever to get through to a live person on the phone. When they finally answer, they don't tell you their name and it sounds like they are in the middle of *********************. Terrible, more so lack of customer service. Weeks went by with Jo ************* or updates as to my application. Multiple missed meetings that they scheduled. I cancelled my application. If it was this hard to create an account with them, I couldnt imagine how bad it would be once you are an actual customer. I lost over a month and a half of time trying to set up an account. Do as I did and take your business elsewhere

I requested to close my account over a week ago, was told I must do it online. I sent the message like I was instructed. Still no response from them. I even sent another message two days ago. Unresponsive customer service.

Someone literally created a bank account under my name and i tried to call you guys multiple times and have recieved zero answers and if i dont get one ill be glad to go to court...Thats fraud

Spent one week trying to get live person on phone. Finally someone answered from *****. They kept me on phone forever and did not resolve pro blem. l want to add external account and other bank has sent micro deposits. Axos does not know what they are doing. I do not know how they are even in business.
