Our community has gone through at least four community managers in the few years that I have been on our HOA board. This lack of management and guidance has degraded our community. I have yet to feel like my community is a priority for this management company and hopefully this review can get someone's higher's attention. Until they sort out their issues, go else where. Would give negative stars if I could. This company has literally run our neighborhood into the ground. Our community manager out of Raleigh, NC is rude and unprofessional. I had asked for her to clarify some of the financials as they are hard to read/understand she she literally told me to hire an accountant, which I have in writing. They allowed someone who no longer owned a home in here to sign our community into a $65k loan when it had been brought to their attention numerous times he had moved. Extremely poor management of our neighborhood HOA. Won't answer direct questions pertaining to covenants, don't enforce covenant violations and avoid issues rather than deal with them. They are not worth their management fees! This pertains to a Houston team.

My experience with Associa H.R.W has been a nightmare. My community representative is unresponsive and the corporate management above that person has no clue what is happening in individual communities. We had a pest inspector show up at our house unannounced asking to see the perimeter of our house and the garage. When I called corporate, they told me they were unaware of this and suggested I should call the police because they didn't schedule it and I let the inspector in my garage. I live in Holly Springs and we have been trying to get HOA documents REQUIRED by the HOA so we can close on our house and it has taken months with no contact. If you want to pay for an HOA company that doesn't do anything or even answer the community members then this one is for you!!!

Trying to get the required approval to paint the outside of my house. Denied the first time so resubmitted a second choice. Never heard back. Tried to call and got the automated run around. Called back a second time was able to leave a voice mail. No response. These people are ntot caring. Cotton Wood Properties would be best advised to find some other company to associate with. I am definitely not impressed.

This review is concerning the Associa Hawaii office: On March 2, 2022, I received a notification of HOA violation for an area of lawn owned by myself and neighbor. On March 5, 2022, I corrected the violation of my area of the lawn and provided verification. In my formal letter, I wanted to ensure my neighbor had been informed so he could correct his deficiency and avoid myself from receiving a fine for his area. We live in a Condominium development and HOA that has contracted with Prescott Management for maintenance and repairs. Our experience in working with Prescott has been very disappointing. Specifically, their lack of communication with homeowners is just horrid. They don't respond to phone calls, and emails are handled by lower level employees with no authority. Accessing a "decision maker" to get something done in a timely fashion is nearly impossible. I find it incredulous that this firm has a BBB A+ rating. How can consume... read more

People, I have read several of the complaints and it narrows down Associa needs to removed in position of any property management. Let us all take a stand and make this happen. It is obvious nothing has been done and I am sure you all would agree, it needs to happen NOW. All the complaints line up and narrowed down to no cooperation in communication, follow ups on requests and poor customer services.
