What a joke of a company. Keeps sending me fake late charges, even though I sent them copy of a check being cashed waaaay before deadline. Guess what...nobody answers phone or emails, even emergency one. I am getting a lawyer

I wish I could leave a zero star review. I received a fraudulent complaint, and after providing Associa with proof from our bylaws as well as sharing the discussion I had with the fire department, I was spoken down to and disregarded. Katelyn ****** is the most disrespectful and rude person to deal with. I have been trying for years to pay my HOA dues. None of their people are helpful. Their TownSquare app is awful!!! It is not user friendly at all :( They accumulate charges and fees and don't really seem to care that you are trying to pay but can't through any of the normal methods that others allow. I even tried to auto pay and do bank draft, but neither was effective. Their app takes the money 5 days too late and won't let you pay on any other day. This company is a joke. They never have your best interest at heart. Cindy ******* and Jacqui ******** retold a residents experience to our HOA board members and laughed while she shared her concerns. They are unprofessional and uneducated on how to deal with residents and handle concerns. These two women are petty and should be removed from their roles, they do nothing for the properties they represent.

Zero communication, customer service, and organization. This is a management company that takes advantage of the community in which they are supposed to take care of and are terrible to work with. As others have posted, the *************** is extremely non-responsive. It would be better if the answering service said that absolutely under no circumstance would someone return your call than to promise that someone would return your call.
Associa is the absolute worst in every aspect. Zero communication, customer service, and organization. I live at the Stratford Club Condos (I rent the unit from the owner), and they NEVER answer emails or phone calls and seem as if they are never in the office. My unit flooded in June of 2022 and was infested with large amounts of black mold due to negligence of the HOA. I live on the ground floor, and the HVAC drain line for our unit and all the units above us clogged and had overflown into the entire unit while I was out o... read more

Sadly, the one-star reviews are all correct. Our HOA in Deerfield switched to Associa Chicagoland at the beginning of this year, and I was excited considering their upgrade in technology (e.g. TownSq community page). At the beginning, it did seem like they wanted to try and make it a smooth transition for new customers like myself. But then came the awful customer service (or lack of it). We inherited a a Condo (Canoe Club Condo Assc) that is managed by EMB Management group with the parent company being Associa out of Texas. This Condo is located in Monroe Washington. They are totally incompetent and we are one step away from executing legal action against them. We updated the condo for sale. We had a buyer instantly. We lost the buyer because the management company mentioned here did not get our resale papers to us in time. Our buyers walked so we lost the sale. We paid over 300$ to them for this document.
