Unfortunately there billing is outsourced and you can't explain that by billing a patient after Medicare says they owe nothing is fraud. Guess I will just turn it over to the Medicare fraud unit.

RUN AWAY! This company is the worst! If you need medical equipment to save YOUR life, this is NOT the company to choose. Incompetent is an understatement for EVERY person we have spoken to in person OR on phone. Horrible that this company even exists!
Horrific organization and ability to manage their business. People on oxygen are sick and require their services to live. And they can't get a single thing straight.
I was woken up at 9:06 am by a call from Apria Health informing me that the system was down, please try my call again later. (WTF). Called in and waited 8 minutes to speak with a rep. All I wanted was to give my email address so they could send me a link to the website, and to take my number off the calling list. She was snippy and rude. I just want to go back to sleep. I asked for an itemized bill for my cpap supplies, which they refused to provide. I paid the bill once I received a paper copy,(still not itemized)but still got harassed a week after I made a payment. I had already made the payment I was asked to make when i ordered the cpap supplies originally, and then they want more and won’t tell me what I’m paying for. I’ll be finding a new supplier. You should find one to.
I paid for a cpap machine through Apria Direct in May. $1000 out of our pocket as they didn’t accept direct insurance payments. I filed a claim with our insurance company to receive reimbursement. After about 8 weeks the insurance company FINALLY received the information they needed to pay the claim from Apria. Here’s the issue..due to their operational requirements they had to pay Apria directly. Respond to customer complaints instead of ignoring them.
Just spent 3 hours and 5 phone calls waiting for a cpap machine to be delivered. It was arranged to be delivered! This last call resulted in them informing us that the appointment was for a corporate office visit not delivery. Customer service is non existant! Don't use this company if you can avoid it!
