Patients beware - for months Apria Healthcare has been fraudulently trying to charge my credit card for inoperable equipment they refused to correct. This company is super shady in my opinion. Lots of lies from Apria. Also because of there shady practices I have been out of a working cpap for months. They billed and tied up my insurance so I no longer have insurance to us with a reputable company. Apria doesn’t care about people just their money. Run from this company
Just spent over two hours on the phone with Carecentrix, which does the billing for Apria. Paid my bill in September and they said they haven't received it, despite giving them verification from my HSA. Never a pleasant experience dealing with them.

They are a nightmare to work with. My husband has been renting a cpap machine for almost seven years now. We could have purchased three machines outright for what Apria charges. The machine recently stopped working, and he has been passed around from one person to another trying to get the issue resolved. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! Call local number only to be transferred to an “800#” black hole of doom. Hold time over an hour only to get someone clueless. Drive to local office and employees aren’t able to help. Do not use them if you don’t have to!!
Go Bankrupt and let anyone take over that will do a better job. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THE MEANEST, DUMBEST EMPLOYEES IN THE WORLD. THEY DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO ANSWER THE PHONE, THEY WILL NEVER CALL YOU BACK AND SOME A-HOLE GAVE THEM PRE RECORDED MESSAGES THAT IS THEIR WAY OF TELLING YOU TO F&@% OFF!!!!
Because they with hold oxygen from patients who are behind on their bills. even after I paid $150 and only owe $95, they still have a hold on my account and refuse to give me any extra tanks for getting around the city. Also they have not credited the payment I made over a week ago even though it has been taken from my account. I will definitely be filing a complaint.
The Absolute worst , put me in collections without trying to resolve the matter with my health insurance provider . I maintained coverage with . dealing with their customer service is like hitting a stone wall .
customer service could not be worse! I am a health care professional, and I feel terrible for patients that have to deal with this company.. unfortunately I had to in order to get equipment, but never again would I utter the words apria to any patient or family members. Terrible customer service and even more incompetent employees. When I called line listed on the bill the representative tried calling the local branch and could not get a hold of them... what makes them think they would respond to me.
