Terrible service!! I called about if they carry knee scooters 4weeks ahead of having surgery. My doctor sent in my prescription with having 3.5 weeks till surgery. No calls from them so I call in with a week left and they say its processing and someone will call me in 24hrs to complete the process. I get a call and the person tells me my claim is processing and someone else will call in 24hrs. I then figured enough is enough I'll buy one for $100 at Walmart!! Waste of my time and doctors time!!
Apria Healthcare thinks it's ok to put a medical bill into collections that they refused to file correctly with insurance for over a year under my 2 year olds name. How does a 2 yr old owe money? When you have 12 grand in medical bills from a 58 day NICU stay and another hospital stay in the same calendar year, you don't owe anything else out of pocket! Especially in December of that year. 72 Hours and NO OXYGEN DELIVERY for my Mother in law. They keep claiming that there is a document missing. The Dr has called them twice and is told everything is in order. They have not called my Mother in law once! No follow up. Nothing. This may be the most incompetent company on the planet.
We've been waiting 4 months for a machine. We've been approved and insurance has approved.....still no machine in 4 months. worst company ever for healthcare supplies.
They could actually call back when they said the would. They could actually provide customer service that cared. They could handle defects in equipment promptly. You know, little things like that.
Randomly charges amounts and TERRIBLE customer service.
Yesterday they promised wheelchair delivery at 9:00. I get an automated call today advising delivery will be between 12:00-4:00. I call Apria and get told they do not start deliveries until 11:00. Very dishonest.
Apria has the worst service I have ever seen. My wife has had to use them (insurance dictated) for years. I don't know if they ever got anything correct the first time. Billing is rarely correct. Delivered products are typically incomplete or wrong all together. We have had trucks show up to deliver big systems that we never ordered or needed. One of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. I work in healthcare, I deal with issues every single day. This company needs to improve their workflows first and foremost. Also, they have done a good job at gaming the insurance payer/individual payer matrix. Save yourself time/money as well as your employer money and purchase your supplies elsewhere.
