Apria healthcare has the shadiest business practices. Twice now we have been billed without authorization from us to the tune of $300 or so, which for us is our entire bank account. They then tell us that there’s nothing that they can do until the payment hard posts (not true according to our bank who told us exactly what they can do to release the hold) and then takes 2 WEEKS to get the money back. How about if Apria stopped trying to cheat clients out of money? How about if one person there knew what the others were talking about? How about if you get one answer to a question instead of 100? The list is endless, but I'm still being being for a wheelchair that they are not sending bills to insurance for, at least not with the correct codes. I absolutely do not recommend this company. Their ads might say they're "here for you" but don't buy into their lies. My very dear friend has dealt with them for years, so you might think there's some sort of relationship that's been established. Obviously not-- her oxygen machine broke at 4 am and she's already waited for over 9 hours for a replacement unit. The people who work for Apria and came to our home with equipment were wonderful. I could not have asked for nicer, kinder people on the customer service end of business. And their phone customer service reps are very polite. But, billing has been a huge problem for us. The billing department at Apria has been unable to figure out how to correctly bill our insurance company for the services we received from them. Horrible customer service. They never get the orders right and then don’t answer your questions when you call. Then have the nerve to ask where your payment is when you just got the statement yesterday. Going to find a new supplier. I’m just done!!!!
You continue to bill me after I have returned equipment. I had to make at least a half dozen calls. Returned machine in August and you still want money from me. How do I get this to stop?
