My Dad had open heart surgery and needed oxygen. When we weren't contacted several hours after driving home we called the customer service line and they had no idea what we were talking about. I was able to reach out to a contact I had worked with in the industry named Scott and he went above and beyond to help us get our oxygen. If everyone at Apria was as kind and responsive as Scott, I would never recommend another company. Thank you Scott!! Without your help my Dad would have been at home all night with 80% Sats 💛
This is, by far, the absolute WORST company I have ever had the displeasure of being forced to deal with. Every horrible thing you've ever heard or read in regards to them, is 100% completely true.
Customer service? What customer service? Since their calls are recorded for "quality assurance and training purposes", someone needs to listen to them and learn how not to treat a customer, although I'm sure the recordings are for "training purposes" only so they can teach the trainees how they treat their customers. Apria aka Young Medical aka don't waste your time with them.
Been trying to get set up with Apria for oxygen for 2 months! They finally come to my house in person to tell me they can't help me because they dont have orders at to what I need. I know my Drs office has faxed them orders! This CO is useless!!!
Make it possible to have a local person answer a telephone!!!
I am 30 years old, and dealing with this company has brought me so much stress and frustration and anger and has left me in piles of anxiety and causes me to cry any time I deal with them. Apria is horrible and I feel like it takes advantage of the people that it offers its services too. Apria Healthcare is the worst company that I have ever dealt with in my entire life. If you have a choice (unfortunately, we don't), I urge you to choose another company for your medical supplies. The issue we are having now is just the most recent in a long string of horrible experiences with them over the years. For 7 months they have refused to bill my insurance and instead have been billing me. My insurance and i have both called them numerous times and every time is a new story on why they’re sending me a bill. The last few times they’ve claimed that either my insurance wasn’t valid or that my insurance denied them. Meanwhile they’ve never even sent a bill to my insurance.
