Apria scams people with billing by delaying equipment pickup in order to bill another month. I'm refusing to pay them and have submitted a complaint to Kaiser about what they're doing. The rep who called to harass me today refused to hand me over to a supervisor. I can afford to pay their measly $27 bill, but it's the principal, and not everyone can afford it.

Worst customer service I’ve had in quite a while. My insurance called to verify coverage after I was told repeatedly that they were “unable to get a human” which is a lie. It’s a small insurance company with a live receptionist. Then mysteriously that verification of coverage disappeared and when I called again I was told that they don’t even take my insurance which is not true. My insurance offered to call again and I said not to bother. I’d rather not give money to this business.

Let me tell you about this conglomerate bag of idiots. First, back in July of 2018 I went to get a CPAP from a local store. They acted like I was speaking a second language when I walked in even though I had an appointment. They set me up with a cpap and walked me through everything. The next day I called in with questions. I have yet to get a phone call back. I have called their customer support multiple times and no one seems to understand what I am talking about. Most recently, I received an invoice with nothing on it. Ju... read more

Have better customer service, And remember they are a healthcare provider. That means their customers have health problems and in need of help. Perhaps you need more employees to fill the need.

I was in the university of Miami Hospital. They said I had to have a wheelchair to go home. Some lady calls me in my room asking for my copay so they could deliver the wheelchair - at 11:30am. At 6pm I call to find out where my wheelchair is located. Lady says it is being FEDEXed. She gives me a phony number saying it is my tracking number. Hospital says I can go home as long as I get the wheelchair at home. I call back and ask they send wheelchair to my home. (2 hours away). She said ok I made the change it will be sent to ... read more

My Dad has severe COPD and congestive heart failure. He was discharged last week from yet another hospital stay. Before he could leave he had to have his oxygen equipment brought over from Apria. After waiting over 5 hours for an oxygen tank so he could leave and them not coming he promised the nurse that they would drive straight over to get what he needed for the night and they let him leave. They went and picked a tank up and went home. We assumed everything was fine and more tanks would be delivered the next day. Nope di... read more
