Apria Healthcare is the worst company that I have ever dealt with in my entire life. If you have a choice (unfortunately, we don't), I urge you to choose another company for your medical supplies. The issue we are having now is just the most recent in a long string of horrible experiences with them over the years. I will also be contacting my insurance company to complain, however, I know it will not do any good. It infuriates me that they are allowed to get away with treating people so poorly and providing abominable custom... read more

For 7 months they have refused to bill my insurance and instead have been billing me. My insurance and i have both called them numerous times and every time is a new story on why they’re sending me a bill. The last few times they’ve claimed that either my insurance wasn’t valid or that my insurance denied them. Meanwhile they’ve never even sent a bill to my insurance. One time they even claimed to not have any record of my insurance info even though I’ve been a patient with them for years and my insurance never changed. Stay... read more

Everything about this company is wrong. Their customer service is horrific (which is based in the Philippines) Their billing practices are underhanded and I will be pursuing reporting this to Better Business Bureau and I have already put in a formal complaint with my insurance company. As should everyone who is having these issues. And if I don’t get satisfaction I will take it to the media. They have brought me to tears on several occasions regarding equipment needed for my husband. They are a disgrace!!!!!

Horrible is too good a word to describe this company. Spoke to 4 people today for a total of 22 minutes and then magically disconnected. Terrible company, find any other one on google and save yourself a headache

I received a prescription for a wheelchair after surgery. I was informed by Apria that this would be delivered and had gone through my insurance. No problem. Great. Upon the wheelchair arriving, not only was I uninformed that this was a rental agreement, but they allowed "a friend" to sign the rental agreement. Fast forward five months and I received a bill for $216.58. I was shocked, however; I figured it was a cost that my insurance hadn't covered. I promptly logged on to pay the total. Then I received multiple calls sayin... read more

How could Apria improve? There are too many things to list in one post. Start from the beginning. When you receive an order, make sure, get the insurance information. You've worked with insurance before. You know what you need in order to get paid. Get that information, and notify the patient immediately if you don't have it, if you can't bill it, if the insurance requires further documentation, if the insurance denies it - all of these should prompt immediate contact with the patient. What you shouldn't do is going on provi... read more

The doctor ordered a nebulizer and supplies (mask) for my son. First they told us it would be delivered to us by end of day the gentleman said "we continue deliveries until everything is delivered" so we waited and waited and waited... long story short 6pm rolled around and still no nebulizer, luckily I knew a few people who have a nebulizer so I borrowed theirs and rushed to the med supply store to buy a mask. If I wasn't a healthcare provider and knew I could do this we probably would have ended up in the ER just for a stu... read more
